They will also have other similar toy sales (but at different price ranges) on October 10th, October 24th & November 25th – so mark your calendars!

They had a $0.99 sale last Saturday and it looks like a few days before they posted a list on their site of all the toys they would have on sale. So look for a similar list for this upcoming $2.99 sale!

  1. If any of you attend this, get there plenty early, dress warm, and be prepared to run like a wild women to try and find what you are looking for! I went last year couldn’t find what I was looking for(an airhog) and by the grace of a woman I was talking to in line before we went in, she gave me one of hers. (I had just happened to bump into her on my way out)

  2. I have gone to this sale for years. Michelle is right. Women start lining up around 8:30. They will come out and pass out HUGE bags. I recommend that you take 4 bags, double bag them so that you end up with 2 large bags (to prevent them from ripping open from sharp boxes.) Don’t bother with a cart, you won’t be able to move around with it, there are just too many people. Leave the kids at home so you have your hands free, you will need it. If something looks interesting, GRAB it and stuff it in your bag. Don’t waste time making a decision there will be a PUT BACK table where you can put anything you don’t want after you have had time to sort through it. There will be a list of what is available that comes out in the Standard Examiner the day before each sale. Some items may have very limited quantities so you want to get through the tables as quickly as you can then find a spot near the PUT BACK table to sort your bags. Put back what you don’t want and watch for things you may have missed that someone else puts back. All items are AS IS so be careful of anything that is liquid like fingernail polish or paint because it may have dried up. You can get some really great deals but the most popular items are usually gone within the first 5 to 30 minutes. I hope this helps.

  3. I’ve never been to the Smith & Edwards toy sale, but OMG………I went to Walmart this morning and matched the BigLots ad for the Buzz Lightyear operation game & used the $4.00 coupons from last Sunday. Bought 2, only paid $1.00 for each. Also, they just started to mark down all their toys on clearance, even lower! I snagged a 3D Monopoly game for 25 cents!…Using another $4.00 coupon. Got a singing & dancing Dora doll for only $6.25. Got cute insulated lunch sacks for $1.25. One even had coupons in it! This was at the Riverton Walmart. It might be worth finding out if any of the other Walmarts are doing this too.
