Peggy, if you just bought it last week through Amazon, call Kindle customer service and see about returning it. You have 30 days from the purchase to return it for a full refund. Just explain the situation and I’m sure they’ll help you. 🙂

I realized after writing that I had bought a more souped up version, so I am happy with my purchase. They don’t tend to lower the price on these but what I did is watch for it to have deals along with it. So mine came with…I don’t know, screen savers, whoo (said sarcastically) LOL I watched and watched these since my birthday in May, which is what my husband said he was going to buy me for my bday, but I wanted a deal. I ended up just buying it, with the extras since I never saw any prices change.

This is a new release. I doubt they’ll up the price later, so you’re probably good until Friday. I’d also recommend looking at the Kindle with keyboard (for only $20 more), which has more options and stuff to it. Probably a good idea to compare the two before you purchase.

Omg.. I have been wanting one ever since they first came out. Payday isn’t until Friday.. Ugh and I doubt very seriously that my husband will let me buy one. This sucks..

Just so you know, this Kindle is the base model. It doesn’t have a keyboard. I bought the souped up one with a key board, wi-fi and something else that I can’t remember right now. LOL It’s great!! You can download games on it, so if you like doing that,you want the key board. I can also search the kindle book store for books right from my kindle. With the one advertised here you would always have to go to a computer to do it. Well I guess maybe to search a certain book that you would have to type in the name for. So it’s something to think about before you order this one. Though that is a good deal, you might find for a few $ more you might like the other one better.
