If you ordered on JustFab, or even just created an account on JustFab after I posted about it, Reader Charity brought something really important to my attention. (To see the old post, head here.)
Even though the Fine Print on the Plum District Deal says nothing about this, if you create an account on JustFab AND make your first purchase, it looks like you will be enrolled in a monthly shoe club. Basically if you do not hit the “Skip this Month” button in your account before the 5th of the Month, then they will charge you $39.95 and basically give you a credit for a Free Shoe or Handbag you can use later.
Remember, this should only be a problem for those who have or will be placing an JustFab order. However, the “Skip this Month” button was available for me and I hadn’t placed an order. So, I hit it just to be safe!
So two possible fixes:
1- If you purchased the Plum District Deal, log in to that account and get your voucher information and make your purchase on JustFab. After you have placed your order and it has shipped, then go and either completely cancel your account or “Skip this month” button. If you click the “Skip this Month” button, you will need to do so every month UNTIL you actually cancel your account- or you would be charged the $39.95.
2- If you created an account without purchasing the Plum District Deal, you can either remember to click the “Skip this Month” button each month before the 5th, or you can completely cancel your account NOW, or wait until you make your first purchase and then either cancel or click the “Skip this Month” button. The choice is yours.
Remember though, that this shoe club does have a referral program. For every two people you refer and they make a purchase, you get a Free Handbag or Pair of Shoes for yourself! So, a lot of you may want to hang on to your accounts and share about JustFab on your facebook pages and with friends. Also, feel free to leave your referral link in the comments section below this post.
A BIG Thank you to Charity for pointing this out to me- as she has purchased a number of things from them already.
