Don’t forget, this is today!

On September 7th, participaing FTD florists will be helping celebrate the 17th Annual Good Neighbor Day by handing out FREE bouquets of flowers!

The idea behind the free bouquets is that they want people to take the free bouquets and share the flowers with friends and neighbors. FTD florists hope this annual event will help spread friendship and kindess throughout the United States by allowing people to connect over flowers.

Please note, only select florists shop are participating. Find a participating FTD Good Neighbor Day Florist.

**Utah Readers: As of right now, there aren’t any participating shops in Utah! Although there is a small chance some shops might get added to the list between now and the 7th. I would check the list again the evening of the 6th as new shops are continually being added right now.

  3. Having some knowledge of the floral business. You might have a hard time convincing a florist to give away free flowers. The event is hosted by FTD with the intent of having participating florists give flowers away at the florist expense not FTD’s.

Utah has more independant florist than franchised florist, and with Utah not being a big user in flowers for weddings and such, it makes it hard for florist to be willing to give flowers away for free.

You can help support your local florist by ordering directly from the florist as opposed from floral ordering websites ex: Proflowers, FTD, Telefloral who take a cut of your order money (about 20%) for placing the order with your local florist then sending the florist the difference. In return you get a smaller order.
