Remember, they are doubling coupons up to $1.00 on Tuesdays to compete with Ridley’s who does Double Coupon Tuesdays as well! Somehow I don’t find it comforting that Utah County is the pilot program for all this. From how it sounds, there’s a lot of dishonesty and hoarding going on, I’d be surprised if they continue doing it.

I hope they change how they “double” the coupons. It drives me crazy! I’m super grateful they are doing it, but there is so much room for error and confusion. I’ve only done it twice, but both times I had to study my receipt afterward and try to figure it out. Both times there were errors and I had to find a manager to correct it. It adds about another 30 minutes onto an already long shopping trip. Why can’t they just program their computers to do it automatically?

The Nestle Chocolate Morsels coupon is for .50 off 2, so after doubling, it would be $1.88 each.

I wish the computers would automatically double the coupons as well. Each cashier has their own way of calculating the doubling and once I got the correct overage to go towards my other items and another time I didn’t get the overage. They don’t have a system that they all cashiers should follow, it’s all up to the cashier to figure out the doubling and each one has their own theory on how it should be done. So you need to pay close attention. Either way on the positive side, I am grateful to Utah County Walmarts for doubling, I have saved a lot of money on things that I do use and need for my family.
