I called 3 stores and they were unaware of the coupon being sent out. I went and just grabbed one and either it works or it doesn’t. Luckly it worked great. It only excludes a few specific items.

Had to copy the url from the text into my browser (I don’t have a smartphone, iphone or blackberry) and was able to print out the barcode. However when I arrived at my local TrU (in Connecticut), they would not honor it. Have put in a call to 1-800-toysrus and an escalation ticket has been opened. I really hope this gets resolved as it’s a great deal!

WVC is out of everything. Orem had Tony Hawk Shred for PS3 and Xbox 360 and DJ Hero for PS3 and Wii. The bar code didn’t come up on my phone so the clerk just entered the code so I could get the discounted price.

It looks like the code is only working on iPhones & Blackberrys. If you have a friend who has one. Have them send the text to that number and then they can forward you the message. It worked for me last night!!

If you don’t have a smartphone, just go to the website in the text on your computer browser. The website I got is toysr.us/qrprint1 and the instructions for the cashier say that if there is a barcode error all they have to do is type in 946607. As long as you have the text in your phone and you take note of the code, I think they should do it!
