Target Toy Clearance: Christmas in July!

DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission.

I posted about this a few weeks ago, but it looks like the Target Toy Clearance is happening all over the Country.  I’m getting reports from readers everywhere.  So, it might be worth your time to either call up Target and check if your store has their Toy Clearance going- or hop in the car.  This is the BEST time to purchase your Christmas presents!! (Thanks Jennifer)

Start watching your Toy Sections when you shop at Target over the next few weeks. Some stores have already started clearancing Toys and others will be starting soon.  Discount should start at 30% off, then 50% and if they don’t sell out will make it to 75% off.

This is one of the best times of the year to purchase Toys for Birthday parties and even Christmas! So be on the lookout.  And, if you see that your store has started their July Toy Clearance, then leave a comment letting us know which store.

**Last year the Semi-Annual 75% off Toy Sale started on July 29th.  So it may come sooner this year!

  4. A couple of weeks ago the store in Queen Creek, AZ had tons of their toys on clearance. They had about 6 aisle end caps and 2 small sections of an aisle on clearance.

  5. Our Hagerstown, MD store has not started toy clearance yet. (At least not as of Sunday evening). However, I did find a patio sling glider (2 seater) for 75% off! I was super excited to get a $124 chair for $31.

  6. Target online has toy clearance up to 65% so far. For me, it would save me more gas to shop online than go to the actual store. 🙂

  7. A few weeks ago, the Riverdale, UT Target had all the ZuZu pets on clearance for $2.50 and the armor for them for $1.97. I stocked up for future birthday parties!

  8. I was at the American Fork Target yesterday and bought a bunch of Legos: savings ranged from a couple dollars for the mini kits up to $15 for a big box set (big Lego City kits where also available for $15 off.) Pretty good for Legos, I thought. But every toy isle had bunches of toys on clearance; another notable is the Star Wars Bobba Fett Helmet for only $18! (My parents paid $35 for my son’s birthday!)

  10. The Midvale target hit 75% today. It took about 10 minutes to get completely cleared out. If you didn’t get there when the store opened, you basically didn’t get much.

    • Worker said a “resaler” came in and got 10 cart loads right off the bat. Too bad for every one else!

  11. there is absolutely nothing left at the Centerville Target. I saw someone there with 5 overflowing carts of toys. How rude! We all need to remember to take what we need and not be greedy.

    • If you had a ton of grandkids or kids to shop for and were able to take advantage of a sale then you would do it too! Just because that person had alot, it doesn’t mean they are greedy. Don’t be so judgemental!

  12. I was at the Centerville Target this morning and was one of the first in to the store. There were two guys who cleared out a TON of stuff. The upsetting thing is they are going to go sell them at full price and make a profit off of the toys they cleared out. It is sad when they take advantage of a good situation and ruin it for others who could use the inexpensive toys for their children’s birthday or Christmas gifts. I did happen to get a lot of fun stuff for my kids, but seriously every clearance toy was gone by 8:10am.

  13. Last year I found this sale and was able to buy toys to donate to the the less fortunate at Christmas. It was nice having these toys on hand to donate at Christmas when money is tight!

  14. Went to Jordan Landing location in Utah. Workers were still marking toys down at 9:30 a.m! Most 75% off was still on original shelves so it was nice they were spread out. But it just seemed like they were not ready for such a big event.

    • None of the other Targets in Utah had theirs marked down. South Towne and Riverton were still at 30%…boo!
