  1. Do you know if you can get an additional year if you are already signed up for the free year with Amazon Mom?

    • I would definitely try! It can’t hurt right?

  2. I signed up for this last year and it was the best thing I’ve done. Free two day shipping and usually their prices are the same or cheaper than my local stores especially for books, music and DVDs. Do you know if you can resign up for another year? I’m guessing no, but that would be great if you could.

  3. I signed up for this September of last year, and although the restrictions may have changed, I don’t get free two-day shipping on everything. I’d say a majority of items that I purchase are not eligible for free two-day shipping. It’s great and does save me a considerable amount of money, but the fine print reduces the savings.

  4. You would need to create a whole new account with a different .edu account. The best thing they apparently can do is give you half off on another year. I think it’s like $40 instead of $80. Yeah Amazon is great but I don’t think I would want to pay that much just to get 2 free day shipping on items. I’d rather go to the store and pick the things up.

  5. I just signed up for this thinking that it was an awesome deal. I looked at the DVD’s I wanted on my other account and the price was $9.11 plus 6.98 for shipping it, and on my account with the amazon prime the same item was for $16.09. It is the same price. On one they just tell you what you are paying for the shipping and the other one they just added it into the price. So if they do that to all of their items, you are paying the exact same. I hope they don’t though cause then it isn’t a good deal.
