**My location will give you a free donut anytime you go in and ask when the Hot and Ready Light is on. So yours may too! But if you are needing an excuse, here it is. You can say you’re helping celebrate National Donut Day! You’re kids will love having one more reason to celebrate & eat a donut! 😉

If your store doesn’t offer the free donuts, then this free offer will work great for you. I just know that my location in Provo, Utah will just give you a free glazed if you ask for it. (Usually needs to be when the Hot and Ready light is on) But that seems to be all of the time when I drive by 🙂

Ours (in Las Vegas) will do that too! You don’t even have to ask sometimes, they will just ask if you want one while you are waiting 🙂 Thanks for the info! I love taking my kids there, its so fun!

They only give out the free glazed when the “Hot Donuts” (it says something like that) light is on. And I believe you have to purchase something. If they haven’t changed it, the light is on from 5-11 both am and pm. 🙂

Neither have I… I’ve heard that they’ll give you free ones at the end of the day but I didn’t know that they do it anytime. This is probably the worst tip ever! There goes my New Year’s Resolution 🙂 haha

I thought everyone knew about the “Hot n Ready” light at Krispy Kreme! Its what they used to be known for – but granted I grew up near the original Krispy Kreme in WA State. I’ve never even had to ask for a doughnut. They always just hand you one when you walk in – as long as the hot n ready light is on. The warm gooey Krispy Kremes are the best! I could care less for the other “fancy” flavors – just give me a hot glazed! Yum!

We tried to get one when the light was on at the Orem location a few days ago. They told us they discontinued that 2 years ago. You have to make a purchase to get a free one.

Actually.. hubs and I tried getting one a couple months ago (at the provo location) and they said you have to buy one to get one free when the hot sign is on.

The Krispy Kreme shop in Arlington, TX will not give you a free donut when the sign Hot n Ready is on. They told me they do not give out free ones anymore but one of the worker was giving non paying friends a free one. Will never go back.
