Ok, Father’s Day is in two days!! We’ve had a lot of great and cheap gifts pop up on the F2D site… but I was hoping you guys would share some simple, cheap and creative gifts for those who are super tight on money.. or just haven’t picked up their gift yet!

My idea? Do a Candy Gram with his favorite candy bars in message form saying how much you love him!  Head to the store and pick up candy bars that you can turn into words.  You can create a fun letter on posterboard that says things like, “You are such a Big Hunk” and use a Big Hunk Candy Bar instead of writing the words.

What are your cheap, fun and creative Father’s Day Gift Ideas?

  1. I got a bunch of candy bars and a bucket. I’m going to use construction paper and have my boys help me decorate the candy bars to look like tools that we’ll display in the bucket. A cheap, fun idea and a great project for the kids, too!

  3. Growing up we always made breakfast in bed for our dad on Father’s day. Now I live out of state and so this year I got his favorite kind of cereal and some powdered milk and some dried fruit and mailed it and told him not to open it until Sunday morning and open it while still in bed. Then he can have homemade breakfast in bed. :):) I’m sure he won’t eat the powdered milk but I thought it was cute anyways.

  4. I always go with pictures, like a photo collage from Walgreens or Walmart. My dad lives out of town and we’re not very close anyway, so he loves pictures of my daughter. We are very close to my father-in-law and he sees her almost every day, and he still loves pictures!
