***MAKE SURE you take the NEW Walgreens Coupon Policy with you when you shop. It may take a little transitioning for Walgreens to get used to their corporate wide policy.

SS stand for Smart Source, RP stands for Red Plum, PG stands for Proctor and Gamble. They are all coupon inserts that come in the Sunday Papers. You can get a copy of the Walgreens Ad in stores. Also the Walgreens April coupon booklet can be found in stores next to the Walgreens Ads. The Diabetes and You Booklet and the Infant Care Booklet are both located in the Pharmacy and are free. (They may be all out- so ask your pharmacist if they still have them.)

**Remember that your coupon amount may be different depending on what state you live in, or even depending on your region!

  1. There’s a $1/2 Revlon Colorsilk coupon from the 4/17 SS, makes it 2/$4 ($2 each). Did it yesterday. 🙂

  3. Is there a Walgreen close to Layton that actually stocks the sale items so that those of us who don’t shop Sunday’s can get some of the great deals? I have tried several times over the past 2 years to shop at Walgreens, but I get so frustrated because they NEVER have any of the sale items in stock. I’m to the point that I will not go back again. It’s too much trouble to plan a shopping trip, only to be thwarted by a store with nothing in stock.

    • Tooele store NEVER has any advertised items either! I’ve talked to a manager and she says they only get shipments once a week which is completely ridiculous. I have thought about trying to contact a district manager. I quit shopping there because it was a complete waste of time. I try to price match at Walmart but you can’t get the benefit of the register rewards at Walmart.

      • I agree! We would have to stalk the shipment truck!

    • As a Walgreens employee… I would like to say that each store tries their best to get things that are in the ad. Unfortunately, they don’t get the future ads until after the order for that week is in so they try and scramble to get as much as they can the week of. I understand that not all stores are “coupon friendly” but most are.

  5. The Saratoga Spring store never has the sale items in stock. I went at 8:50 yesterday the website says they open at 9 but I guess they opened at 8 and they were already out of everything that I went in for except kleenex. They actually had 2 bottles of the C&C body wash but wouldn’t let me use the bogof coupon and the manager was so rude and sat there pushing buttons on the register for 20 minutes telling me the computer is not accepting coupons. I won’t go back the manager has been there the last 3 times and has been rude every time.

  6. I too shop the Saratoga Springs Walgreens. I guess I’ve been lucky and missed getting the unkind manager, however, I rarely go anymore because it has been a waste of time only to get there and see that everything I want is gone. I’d rather price match at Walmart. I’m not a fan of the register rewards program either. Yes, you get good deals but I hate having to shell out my money only to get the RR back that is meant to spend only at their store. I want to be able to pay the sale price up front and have my left over money to spend anywhere else I want. Guess I’m not a huge fan of Walgreens.

  7. I’ve also been frustrated and disappointed trying to shop at Walgreen’s and having everything gone off the shelf as soon as they open. I have found the DRAPER Walgreens sets limits on all items with Register Rewards to one item per day. You can get several different register rewards but only one of each kind. Hope that makes sense. It’s frustrating when you want more than one, but at the same time at least you can get one. Just know the manager there is super strict on limiting your purchase. On Saturdays, if items are still in stock he will allow more than one.
