Sorry to all of you who don’t live in Utah.  I would normally not post this deal here, but it is such a big deal for us Utah residents that I wanted to make sure it didn’t get missed!

Right now, Screamin Daily Deals is offering 50% off a Cowabunga Bay Season Pass!  You can grab it for only $53.50!  I have no idea how many they have to sell, but I do know that there are thousands of Utah readers that will see this just on my blog.  So, if you want one, I seriously wouldn’t wait!

This place is perfect for younger kids and toddlers.  It was like it was made for them.  (Normal entry one-day passes are around $22 each… so only go more than twice during the entire Summer to reach the cost of your Season Pass!)

**Remember, you will need to purchase 1 per person.  And, if your child is 3 they DO need a Season Pass.  Kids 2 and under are free.

  1. After all is said and done, this looks like a better deal to get in on than the 7 peaks pass of all passes my girlfriends and I got for this summer. I am already not happy with 7 peaks promotion. If I had known, I would have held out for this one!

  2. Emily, I’ve been telling people that pass of all passes was a bad idea. WAAAAAY oversold. I’m curious why you are not happy already?

  3. I bought it when the deal first came up. A bunch of girlfriends and I wanted to do it together this year. LOast year some of them bought $50 passes to raging waters and LOVED it! I didn’t realize that they were going to sell over 20,000 and keep selling. You can still buy them today! Some of the problems with overselling?

    -It will be totally overcrowded
-the sporting events are a joke. Once you get the whole family out and pay for parking, most likely you will get turned away at the door because all of the tickets have been given out already. (luckily I didn’t count on the sporting events)

ALSO, they charge $20 for a parking pass (previously free) or you ger charged $5 or $10 each time, they no longer allow outside food or drink, and they charge for tube rental now (previously free as well). I’m totally bugged by the promotion. Hopefully though, they will raise some money to update the park and make it better.

Overall though, I think I will still get my moneys worth as we plan to go in the morning 1-2 times a week. Hopefully it won’t be as crowded then?

    • You are talking about the Pass of All Passes Deal for Seven Peaks and Raging Waters though right? Just wanted to clarify for anyone who was wanting to get the Cowabunga passes. They haven’t sold thousands of those and you don’t have to pay for parking. 🙂

    • Wow! I know a lot of people who bought the Pass of all Passes, and I’m thinking they’ll be pretty annoyed with these charges you’re talking about, not to mention the overselling! I’m glad we got Cowabunga passes. : )

  4. I only bought it for myself because my 2 girls get in free. So I don’t feel totally ripped off.

  5. Wow. I was wondering where they were making the money from. That’s crazy! When they first came out I was with you and thought when they promoted it as a “deal” that is was a temporary deal that you had to pounce on. But they just kept offering them on every deal site you could think of!
I think you will be fine in the mornings, but I’m also with you in thinking that people are going to get turned away from the water parks.
It will be interesting to see if they do this again next year, or to see if they limit the number sold.

  6. I’m worried about over-crowding too. I hope it’s not too bad, but we’ll see. I agree that the parking is a rip off. I just assumed you’d have to pay for tube rental, since you do at Lagoon too, but theirs were less to rent if you are a season passport holder, I think it was only like $1. Plus at Lagoon you can take your own food in which will save a lot of money. If I had known, I would have held out too.
