The fine print doesn’t appear to exclude sale or clearance items, so you should be able to score some pretty good deals with this promotion. I just went to Gap today and bought 10 shirts!! They were on sale, priced $4.97-$7.97 plus buy one get one free. It was an amazing deal… and you don’t have to do separate transactions, the register just automatically deducts (it takes off the second highest priced item, then lowest priced, then next highest price, etc.) My Gap had tons of shirts on sale too.
