So I want to be completely honest with all of you.  Freebies2Deals has grown so fast over the past year that I just cannot keep up on my own.  I don’t want to neglect my family or forget what is important by always working on the site.  And as much as I LOVE doing it, I just can’t realistically do it on my own anymore. I’m only one person and there are so many deals to get up and share with you guys.

I know there are a LOT of readers that are incredible deal hunters, coupon shoppers, online shoppers and freebie finders. So I have a proposition for you.  I am looking for a little part-time help.  And if you are already searching for great deals, why not make a little money on the side doing what you already love right??

If you are interested in the opportunity of becoming a Freebies2Deals Deal Pro, please fill out this form here and give me some insight into what you are good at and what you are looking to do.  Hopefully I can find just what I need to not only keep this site going strong but make it better and more useful for all of you!

  2. Are you looking for people to look up deals and e-mail them to you? Or are you looking for someone who can add to the blog, like another person helping you run the blog? I am just getting started but I have taught many people already about Walgreens and we have Farm Fresh around here so those would be the 2 stores I could really help with. But I’ve also been checking a lot of stuff out on youtube and then watching peoples blogs that they mention and build my swagbucks, lol. If I can help just let me know.

  3. I submitted an application, but I didn’t mention that I would be really interested in being the facebook person. I love facebook and feel that it is a great way to get information out. I would love to be over it. Just thought I would add this in addition to my application. Thanks for all that you do!!!

  4. I really liked the website when it was just utah stuff. Now we have to sift through all the other stuff and its not my favorite anymore! I wish you weren’t trying to get so big and we could just focus on the local stuff. Let other blogs take care of their own states! Just thought you might like some feedback about how me and all my friends and family feel.

    • I completely agree about only having the Utah stores info on here. Its distracting and somewhat annoying to have to go through pages of stores that dont pertain to us. I have made a point to click on your posts rather than a national blog to help out a fellow Utahn.

      • I totally agree with the last two comments. It was much better when it was just “Utah” stores.

        • Agree with the above comments!! I liked it when it was “smaller”. 🙂 You still rock though!

    • In these hard economic times, its nice to see that someone cares enough to help us ALL save money! In addition, as a Utah reader myself, its encouraging to see a local business thriving. Good job Melea!

  6. I do LOVE your site but also agree with having to scroll through all the stuff that isn’t in Utah. I LOVED it when the site was local and I knew that all deals that were posted were on the web or local. I understand that you are trying to expand but it feels like a disservice to your local Utah readers.

  7. It would be interesting to maybe put a poll on here to see how many readers are Utah readers or out of state readers. I LOVE the local deals for Utah! You do a rockin’ job Melea! Thanks for everything you do to help us save money!

  8. As someone not from Utah, I really love this blog and use it more than any other. I’m so glad you’ve expanded!

  9. As someone who once lived in UT but now lives out of state I appreciate the expansion of what store match ups are offered & I really haven’t found it any more difficult to find the information that pertains to just my area. Yes, I may have to scroll down a few posts occasionally, but what’s two more seconds? 🙂 I don’t think it’s fair to expect Melea to ONLY focus on UT and to not try to grow and expand her business as much as she can. I say applaud her instead for being a successful business woman & stay at home mom! Plus, other states deserve to learn about and love this site as much as we all do! 🙂

  10. I don’t mind sifting through all of the stuff. I really like your site! But for those who do, you could always add a tab up top to say local deals only so when people clicked on it, it would only be the utah stuff.

  11. I agree with what others have said about sifting through, but since you’ve been expanding out of Utah I’ve been able to give a good website referral to my sister who lives in no man’s land and the only store by her is Safeway. So I think it’s great to use your website to reach outside of Utah. I was going to say what Callie said about having a local Utah tab and a national tab and that way people can pick and choose more what to look at…but really, it’s not hard to scroll through either. I’m impressed though with how much you do and have wondered how you are doing it all on your own! Way to set your boundaries and realize when you need help, and not be afraid to ask. I’d love to help.

  12. I also think it is great how Melea has been able to expand the deals on her website because she is able to help people save money on a greater level…and not just Utah! Even though I live in Utah it was exciting news for me when she added new stores to her website that my sister has in Texas like Kroger. Thanks for all your time and effort Melea, change can be a challenge but as you expand and we all get into the groove of change I know it will allow even more people around America to save money! I LOVE your website and how it has helped me to save soooo much money. :o)

  13. I miss the old website of local stuff. I used to check your website everyday, but not as much anymore. It is confusing to sift through deals. I have seeen a deal and then try to find the store and realize that it is not even in Utah. If you are going to get this big then please post if the store is even in Utah for those that have been faithfully checking over the years. Thanks!

  14. Maybe by adding someone to help she can effectively post deals and seperate them so that they are easily accessable. I would love to help co-ordinate this blog – and more over be able to help people all over the world to save money! I think that they economy is going to continue to take a downward spiral and if we do not take a stand and try to help others, this country is going to crash – lets take a stand and begin changing tnot only ourselves but the world! (my application is also in the works – I would be honored to help others in saving their families by saving money and reducing debt – I know it has changed me!)

  15. I am an out of state reader (IL) and love that you find some very good deals that pertain to our area too. No one can be all things to all people, but a suggestion to help the UT residents find their posts more quickly would be to create a tab on your site that consolidates all UT related post titles in one section of your site. They could then have links that take them to the entire posting. On the converse side, as someone that is not form UT, there is sifting to be done for us too. Having the UT only postings consolidated to one section would be more convenient for us as well. I don’t know if that is a complicated suggestion logistically, but is just a thought. All of that being said, I want you to know that your hard work is a true blessing to MANY people. So thank you for all you do.

  16. I too would rather your Website focused back on local Utah deals. As you have expanded I have become less and less interested in your Website. With that said, I am very appreciative of ALL the work you put into your Website. You provide such a great service to so many. Thank you.

  17. I too liked it better when everything was just about Utah, that is why I joined this site in the first place. I didnt have to sift through all this unrelated stuff to get to the stuff I need. It was quick and easy but not so much anymore. I dont come here as much as I used to for that reason alone. I understand that it is a lot of hard work and I do appreciate it, but like someone else said, let the other areas take care of themselves. I am sure they have local blogs dedicated to them specifically why cant we?

  19. I loved your website when you just posted the Utah deals, I checked it multiple times a day. Now I’m not as excited to see what you’ve got going on. Too much that doesn’t pertain to me anymore. I also really miss all the categories that you had on the right hand side. Leapfrog, Hapari, Photo deals, etc. It was really convenient and I used them all the time, even if the deal was over I loved to be able to reference it easily, rather than scroll through pages to find what I was looking for. I do appreciate all the hard work you’ve done for us, especially in the past, it’s really great!

    • Myranda- The categories are still all on the right. They are just in a drop down menu, instead of a huge long list down the side to make it look a little nicer. So keep using that.

  20. I think it is wonderful how much information you are able to give all of us around the country. At this point I can’t even remember how I came across your blog, but I know that many of my friends, as well as myself, live outside of Utah and find the deals and savings you post VERY helpful. I live in Florida and my husband is in the military, so we can use all the savings we can get! Especially as the dollar streches less and less. I appreciate all that you do to put this together. Thank you very much!!! 🙂

  21. I don’t live in the state of Utah and am very grateful that you have expanded! I have to sift through all the Utah only deals but I don’t mind! What’s a few more seconds when you are saving money! I hope you continue to expand and allow us who do not live in Utah to continue to save money as well! I think you do a great job and am very thankful for all the time and effort you put into this site. Keep up the great work Melea!

  22. WOW! I can’t believe some of the comments on here. First off I want to say THANK YOU! I for one really appreciate all the hours you spend each day searching for deals to share with us. As a Utah reader, I think the new additions to your site are AWESOME! The link you added at the bottom of the grocery store deals that aren’t local is great, it makes it easier for me so I don’t have to sift through deals that I can’t get!! I LOVE the site…keep the deals coming!!

  23. Thank you so much for posting deals everywhere! I live in Idaho and also have friends that live here that love this website. Please don’t just make it local. I have saved a lot of money from your great advice and would really be sad if you just kept it to Utah deals! Thanks for the time you spend to help us ALL save money!

  24. Even though I’m not from Utah, I find myself not checking your site as often because now, its like all the other national blogs. There is too much to sift through. Another blogger has the title posts listed on the side and I can quickly click on the posts that I am interested in rather than click, “older posts” repeatedly for something that applies to me.
