It’s back! Starting today through March 14th, Restaurant.com is offering their $25 Restaurant.com Gift Certificates for as little as $2.00! After you add them to your cart, use code SAVE, to make sure the price changes for you!
**If you haven’t purchased a Restaurant.com Gift Certificate before, this is how it works. Each restaurant will have different fine print. Some will have a minimum purchase required or a specific day that you can eat.
If the fine print says that you have to spend at least $25 in order to use your Restaurant.com Gift Certificate, think if you would have already spent that amount normally on the people who are eating. If you would have, then it is a great buy. You can purchase your discounted Gift Certificate, and not worry about meeting the minimum requirements, because you know you already will.
Now, some of the higher end restaurants will say you have to spend a minimum of $50. If there are only two of you eating, chances are you may not hit that $50 unless you buy more food than you were planning on- which isn’t that great of a deal. So think about all of these things when you are purchasing. If done right, you really can save a lot of money eating out!

Be sure and read the FINE PRINT. The restaurants we went to were sticlkers for the fine print. I thought they were looking for new customers and were willing to give out good deals to get people to come in. Not some of the ones we went to. They didn’t seem to care if you came back or not. They were only interested in their immediate bottom line, not their future bottom line.
What happened? We happened to enter the restaurant with several other people. We waited in line behind them in the order we came in. We were all seated in the same room, but at different tables. One of the people in the other party apparently had a restaurant.com coupon. They refused our coupon because the coupon said only one coupon per group. (Argue, argue, argue) We finally got up to walk out before they agreed to take our coupon. It spoiled our mood and dinner.

BTW, I have bought more restaurant.com coupons. And I will probably buy more in the future. The restaurant I had problems with no longer is on restaurants.com and we never went back there.
Just because I had two bad experiences doesn’t mean ALL experiences will be bad.
