I’ve talked before about ways to save on Travel or ways to save on your Disneyland Vacation. But, there is another way to save that I haven’t had a chance to share before.  And it is super easy and can get you discounts on things you never quite imagined!

Daily Deal sites are your pathway into saving big on vacation.  Actually a few weeks ago, my husband and I were lucky enough to go to Hawaii for the first time. (All from the money we saved from couponing helped fund it- it was my Savings Goal for last year if you all remember.)

Once we knew we were going, I started checking the Groupon Hawaii Deals every single day.  We ended up being able to get over half off for a bunch of activities we already wanted to do while we were there!  For example, we were able to go out on a Catamaran and Snorkel with the Sea Turtles.  We saved 60% just by purchasing the daily deal on Groupon.  All I did was posted a sticky note to my computer so I would remember to check it every day! Pretty simple right?  Now, I am doing something similar for Nevada- since my husband has a football tournament there.  And I will take any discount we can get on restaurants, activites, spa visits or even hotels while we are there!

Now Groupon is not the only site that has Daily Deals, I also checked these Daily Deal sites each day to make sure there wasn’t a great discount for my vacation I was missing out on:

So, whenever you are planning a trip somewhere, make sure you start checking these daily deal sites every day before your trip.  You will be estatic when you find a killer deal on something you normally wouldn’t have been able to afford.  Just after doing my daily checkups today for our upcoming Nevada trip, I got a 60% off Spa Service at the Hotel we are actually staying at!  See what I mean about finding incredible deals??

  1. I’m trying to read some of your older posts about Disneyland. I’ve searched your site but when I click on a link to a Disneyland post it won’t come up.
