I know we have new readers and coupon newbies coming to the site all of the time.  But whether you are a new couponer or a veteran, it is very important to remember to have your Coupon Policies with you EVERY time you shop!

Not all cashiers are informed of the couponing policies of their store.  And most likely, they don’t use coupons either.  So, it is best for you to be informed of your store’s policies before you go shopping each week.  That way, if you do run into a cashier that is mis-informed, you can help educate them in a nice way.

If I could give one piece of advice for every couponer, it would be to have your Coupon Policy with you at all times!  I have had so many readers email me about experiences they have had with cashiers and/or managers telling them they couldn’t accept a coupon.  But if they would have had their coupon policy, they could have shown that and been able to use their coupon without a problem.

Here are a few coupon policies to print out:

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy
Target Coupon Policy
Rite Aid Coupon Policy
Walgreens Coupon Policy

This little step will help you have less problems when checking out and give you a more pleasant couponing experience!
