Utah Savings Card

Important Info about Utah Savings Card!

Update:  Supposedly, Utah Savings Card did not go out of business but sold their company to someone else who took the website down.  Unfortunately, the new owners of Utah Savings Card have STILL not contacted me about this (although this problem could have been so easlily taken care of if they had) so I do not have a 100% reliable source as to what is going on with the company. Their website is now up and I would urge you to contact them through their website for additional information.

In my opinion, whether the site was sold to another owner, or whether it has gone out of business- the main point still stays the same.  They should have given their members a heads up about the change so you all didn’t freak out when the website went missing.  Furthermore, if the website was being updated, a construction landing page would have been nice, instead of a 404 error.
This is all the information I know.  Make your own judgement calls as far as if you want to keep working with the company or not.

IMPORTANT: It has come to my attention that Utah Savings Card has gone out of business and disappeared off of the face of the earth.  Unfortunately, the owner of this company did not even have the decency to let any of its members know and some of you have had to find out the hard way.  In my opinion, this is a very shady way of doing business!

If you have a Utah Savings Card Membership, you will want to know that your card will no longer work.  And as a side note, if your credit card is still being charged, you will want to contact the BBB to complain against the owner and see what additional things can be done to rectify the situation.

You will also want to make sure that you put a block on your Credit card for charges coming from Utah Savings Card and you can dispute any recent charges made recently as well.

Unfortunately, I hate to be the bearer of the bad news and I wish I had control over how these companies choose to do business.  But I just don’t.

If you are still looking to have a membership card that saves you money on just about everything you do in the State of Utah, I would sign up for the Utah Kids Club instead. They have been around for 4 years and have the longest list of participating locations.  They even have a huge list of Buy 1, Get 1 Free deals at places like: Treehouse Museum, Boondocks, Fat Cats, Hollywood Connection, Living Planet Aquarium, Lasser Assault, Jump N Bounce and more.

The owner of Utah Kids Club said she would give you guys all her lowest price, in light of what has happened with the disappearance of Utah Savings Card. Just use promo code WINTER to get your membership for $7.99 a month.  Each month you will also get 2 Free Kids Meals certificates to places like Applebees, Chilis, Rumbi and Wingers.

  1. Thank you so much for this news!!! I only used my card occasionally, but kept my membership because I thought it was a good program and worth it when I did use it. My question is this: Do we have any way of knowing when it went out of business? You stated that we "can dispute any recent charges made recently as well". My last Paypal automatic charge went through on 11/27 ($12 for 3 months subscription). Do you think I should dispute it?Again, thanks for the heads up. I would have been shocked if I had tried to use it down the road only to find out it's worthless.

  2. Please note that the Utah SavingsCard is not out of bussiness and an current members can still use the card at all places they could before. The Utah Savings Card was sold and the new corporation hastely shut the website down for web enhancments and changes. The website will be back online shortly this month and the new website will have new enhanced features and alot more companies. You will be very happy with the new changes and enhancments to Utahs premiere discount membershiop company.

  4. I was just informed by the new owners that the Utah Savings Card website is back up and functional. Most of the new enhancements have not been completed but they realized by taking down the website they were causing issues for current members and after they were made aware of this issue put the website back up. You can now however print your membership card online, that way you do not need to wait to use your membership.

  6. I just logged on and they are telling me that my membership expired on November 23. Oddly enough, that is the exact same day they withdrew money from my account for my membership. I sent them an email, but don't expect much from them at this point. Its lame that they said that the card was working all along because unless you memorized all the deals, you had no idea what kind of a deal you were getting should you present your card. The website told you where you got deals at, and what those deals were. Without a website, you are just left standing in the dark. Not a good way to do business in my opinion!
