Have Access to a Printer?? Donate to the Utah Food Bank for FREE!!

Ok guys!  I met with the Utah Food Bank last week to see what items they were in need of.  I wanted to devise a plan to see what us as Freebies2Deals readers could come together and donate.

If you have access to a printer, you can donate food to the Utah Food Bank for FREE!  Not kidding!

So, now I need to ask all of you for a HUGE FAVOR!!

There are thousands of Freebies2Deals readers that live in Utah. And I need all of you to find some time TODAY to head over to Smith’s to purchase your 6 Free Cans of Campbell’s Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom Soup.  Then, drop it in the Utah Food Bank Bin on your way out.  If all of my Utah Readers can do this today, November 3rd,  we can make some serious noise!! If we come together, we can donate over 30,000 cans of Food to the Utah Food Bank in just 1 day and make a BIG DIFFERENCE!!

After you have made your purchase and put it in the Utah Food Bank Bin at Smith’s, just come back to this post and leave a comment telling me how many cans you donated and which Smiths you did it at!

This week, as part of Smith’s Kick of to Saving’s Event, you can purchase cans of Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup or Cream of Mushroom Soup for only $.49, when you purchase 10 participating items.  Print off the $1.50 off 3 Campbell’s Great for Cooking Soups coupon TWICE.  That means you can get 6 cans of Campbell’s soup for FREE!!

Now I know you might be tempted to keep that all for yourself.  But I want you to take a second and think about all of the families out there who are struggling to even keep food on the table.  Especially during the Holidays, I personally do not want any family to go hungry!  If we can all head to Smith’s this week and grab at least 3 of the Campbell’s soups for the Utah Food Bank, think of how many families we could feed!  THOUSANDS!!!

***Since you will need 10 items, in order to get the Soup at $.49 a can.  You can see the rest of the participating items here.  You can grab $.25 toothpaste, Free Toothbrushes, or Free Ricola Cough Drops and keep that all for yourself!!

You shouldn’t have any problems with your Campbell’s coupon either!! I spoke with Smith’s Corporate last night and they have forwarded on the info to their stores about this coupon and that a lot of you will be coming to use it!

NEW UPDATE:  If you have already printed the coupons previously, (they have been there awhile), then use the $.40 off 4 Campbell’s Great for Cooking Coupons from the 9-12-10SS or the 10-03-10 SS!

  1. This is so awsome!! EVERYONE needs to do this! Can you imagine the impact that we can have on someone's life? Someone who is, right now, trying to choose between feeding their babies or buying diapers? It can be huge! I still have a couple of cases of Libby's veggies that I will drop off too!

  5. It told me I had already printed this coupon even though I had not. So it must have reached it's limit.

  6. I had the same problem, it says I already printed it but I never did. Sad, I was really wanting to do this. Maybe I will just go and donate anyway without the coupon.

  7. I'm pretty sure I've already printed those coupons (especially since it's saying I have!), and I'm pretty sure they're at home. I know I haven't used them. So I'll go tonight to the Draper Smith's and do this. I need cough drops anyway–I'm pregnant and I have a cold and that's pretty much all they'll let me take at this point since it's first trimester. UGH!

  9. I got six cans of soup, but I didn't leave it at Smith's. My kids' school is doing a food drive contest this week so I'm letting them take them to school. The food is going to the food bank also, so I figured it's the same 🙂

  12. I was able to leave the 6 cans of soup, plus Kroger brand pears since I had a spend $50, save $5 on Kroger brand products from the Utah Entertainment book. I also dropped in some Jell-O. Way to start a revolution!

  14. The Smiths in Bountiful didn't have a place to leave the food. I asked 3 different employees and they said they didn't have a box for the Food Bank. I will just send the food with my daughter to give to her school's food drive. Thanks for the idea!

  18. I did this at the Layton store and when I went to find the drop box they didn't have one so I'll for sure be putting them in my box at home for the food drives they do every now and then to make sure it still gets there (hopefully before the holidays!)

  26. I had a thought too about helping out. There are a lot of coupons that I don't use but there are some great deals on some of them, so for the next couple of months I'm going to keep anything that might be good to donate and see if I can get more free stuff or inexpensive stuff and donate it. Just a thought for others too. Thanks Melea this was a great idea to help others in need.
