I just got back from my local ToysRus Store in Provo, Utah. First of all, let me say it is really confusing for you as readers to figure things out when each ToysRus store seems to be doing different things. That is NOT how ToysRus is supposed to work. So if you encounter a problem- such as a store not taking a Manufacturer’s Coupon, not giving your Gift Card, not letting you use both the $5.00 off $25 Coupon and the $10 off coupon together—then you will want as to speak with ToysRus Corporate WHILE YOU ARE THERE.
You can also call them yourself at 1-800-ToysRUs (800-869-7787) or shoot them an email about your experience. They need to know how this promotion has affected all of you!
I have had many of you comment about what your store is doing. And they all seem to be accepting different coupons and doing different things. Even though I pre-ordred, my store did not get enough of the Tinkerbell DVD in their shipment this morning. So I get to drive all the way over there again later this week.
Another interesting thing my ToysRus did was pull the Pre-order cards for Beauty and the Beast off the shelves! So, I was NOT able to pre-order it when I went in today. They said that they had way too many people pre-order and were not able to fill any more purchases. So, that may be the case at your store too!~ Especially if you live in a state that only has two ToysRus stores like Utah!
However, the Provo ToysRus store did say that as long as your purchase was over $25, you CAN use the $5.00 off $25 coupon AND the $10 Tinkerbell Coupon without a problem. So, if you have a store telling you that you cannot do it, Stand up for your Coupons! You are following their coupon proceedure. And if they won’t budge, then follow my directions above and ask to speak with corporate or call them yourself while you are there.
**If your store will still let you pre-order Beauty and the Beast, the pre-order price has changed to $5.00 instead of $10. So your total for Pre-ordering and picking up Tinkerbell will be $24.99. You will need to purchase a small piece of candy or something else to use your $5.00 off $25 Coupon and $10 off Tinkerbell Coupon! BUT they will and should take both coupons- as long as your total is over $25!
Many of you have had no problems using your coupons! If that is the case, please comment and let us know which store- It will make it easier on all of us.
I’m definitely bummed my store is not doing the Pre-sale deal. So it looks like I will be watching for another deal instead that will work for all of us!

So the only reason I bought Tinkerbell was to buy it in conjunction with Beauty and the Beast and get them both for $5 a piece. So what options do we have now? Can you go in and get a refund on your pre-ordered Tinkerbell? I don't want Tinkerbell if it is going to end up making me find something to buy worth ten dollars more since I can't get Beauty and the Beast. Wow what a crazy situation:(

This is all so crazy! I tried calling corporate to complain and some guy just took my name and number and gave me a ref. # and told me that I would hear back from someone within 72 hours. I am frustraded!

I went to the Toys R Us in Murray, Utah on State Street and I was unable to use my $5 off $25 coupon for Tinkerbell. One girl said that they have been trying to make the coupon work all day but it doesn't work and she said they will get in trouble with such and such a person(s) if they try to make it work. Weird. I was able to get my $10 gift card and pre-order Beauty and the Beast, however, it doesn't arrive at stores until the 5th of October and the $5 off coupon expires Sep. 26th (mine does anyway). Coupons shouldn't have to be so confusing. 🙁

I went to the Orem, UT store today and was also told that I could not pre order Beauty and the Beast. The only reason I was buying Tinkerbell was that I could buy them both so cheap. I told the girl how upset I was and she did let me cancel my pre order for Tinkerbell and refunded me my $10 that I had paid towards it. It really is a pain when you make two trips and the store doesn't do what they are suppose to.

So I had a GREAT experience with Toys R Us in BrickYard. I was prepared for all the negatives talked about but I didn't have a single problem.I paid for the rest of the Tinkerbell movie($19.99), pre-ordered the Beauty and the Beast($5.00), and 3 Hot Rod car Sets($4.99 each but with a deal of buy 2 get one free) to make sure I was over the needed.I used the $10 off Tink Coupon and the $5 off coupon. I expected my total to be about $20(mostly because of the cars) but when all was said and done, I ended up paying $11.12 for all of that. I said the the cashier, "oh that was less than I thought it would be" She said, "well with your coupons and store deals you got a great deal."I checked my reciept and I saw where it took of the $10 coupon and the $5 coupon but there was also another deal on it that said Tinkerbell Promo -$10. So I saved another $10! And that is NOT ALL. They also took down my name and number because I was supposed to recieve a free watch(that is what the lady said) but they had misplaced them so when they found the watches, she would give me a call to come pick it up. How cool is that? And then I'll go order the free Tinker bell charm bracelet too from Disney Rewards! So sorry to everyone that got a crappy deal, go to the brick yard Toys R Us

Don't get frustrated with coupons. This is kind of the way it goes sometimes. But as long as you are doing the right thing, they should work with you. This whole Tinkerbell fiasco is crazy, but here is the deal…the price of Tink is $29.99 (not $19.99 like it is ringing up in their system-because you already paid the $10 deposit) This is why they won't take the $5 off $25. Kindly remind them that the price of the Bluray is $29.99, obviously the cashier doesn't have the authority to give you $5 back so ask for a manager. I had to ask for 2! They couldn't explain to me my total or how the computer came up with it. I know it is such a hassle, I was probably at the Murray store this morning for over a half an hour, kind of a waste of time. In the end, the second manager kindly took the $5 off $25 for customer satisfaction or whatever they have to put it towards. It pays to be nice, but also don't be intimidated and think they are always right because in this instance they aren't. There system isn't correct and they shouldn't have a problem taking both coupons. The price of Tinkerbell is $29.99 not $19.99…

And I did get my $10 gift card too so when I pick up Beauty and the Beast, it'll be FREE!Umm, Change Brickyard to Sugar House, sorry about that. It is on 1300 E by the Michaels Craft, Nordstrom Rack place

My problem is that when my order was totaled the cashier took the 2 manufacture coupons that I had and deducted them before the $5.00 on the $25.00 purchase so the total was not $25.00. The cashier wouldn't adjust it so I could use the $5.00 coupon, too. I have emailed customer service. Hopefully they will respond. I will update if they do.

If I pre-ordered in Orem, do I have to pick it up there? I would be willing to drive to Sugar House to get the deal (of course I would go to the zoo or something else up that way to make it worth the drive).

Has anyone had a problem at the West Valley Toys R Us? I live a little close to that one.

Update on Sugar House deal, so I realized that instead of getting a $10 gift card when I pick up Beauty and The Beast, I just got the extra $10 off on my order because I bought Tinkerbell. The preorder slip for Beauty and The Beast says $10 off your purchase of a $19.99 or more Blue Ray DVD not $10 gift card at purchase. So you will want to add on some toys to save more. If I would have bought just the dvd and beauty and the beast, I would have only got a $5 credit, but I was buying $10 in toy cars so I saved $10.Confusing I know. But now when I go to pick up Beauty and The Beast, I will pay $4.99 + tax. So total I will have spent $26 for 2 blue ray movies and 3 packs of cars.

The Layton Store is out of Tinkerbell, but is still taking pre-orders for Beauty and the Beast. What's the point of pre ordering if you don't actually get the movie? My daughters were so disappointed.

I went to the West Valley store. It ended up being an ok deal, but they did not honor the full $10 manufacturer coupon for Tinkerbell. So at this ToysRus, if you preordered Beauty and the Beast while picking up your preoredered Tinkerbell, it dropped the Tinkerbell movie to $19.99. So, since I already preordered I thought, awesome, I'll only have to pay my $5 for the Beauty and the Beast preorder. WRONG. They would only give me $4.99 for the Tinkerbell coupon because they said it would cancel out the $10 gift card if they gave me the full amount. I argued with them and said that I already paid $10, so I shouldn't have to pay anything with the coupon for Tinkerbell. The cashier said she's only allowed to do what her computer will let her do. Even the manager came over and said that they cannot credit people more than $4.99 for the coupon. So, I mean I only paid $5 more dollars for Tinkerbell, and I got the $10 gift card, and the free watch. But still…. they should honor the whole amount of the coupon. So I complained and we'll see if things go better when I pick up Beauty and the Beast.

I didn't end up using the $5 off coupon but did get to pre-order Beauty and the Beast and got the free Tinkerbell watch that I wasn't expecting so it was a bonus! I paid $11 something at pick up and got the $10 pick up. They had said the $5 off coupon hadn't been working and I wasn't high enough because of Beauty and the Beast being $5. My family was waiting in the car so I didn't want to shop more to get the $5.

Leanne Joy- I just called the Layton store and they said that if you pre-ordered you are guaranteed a copy so I would check again. Good Luck!

I just returned from the Murray Toys R Us completely disappointed with nothing to show for over an hours worth of my time. I am no longer a Toys R Us customer, the employees are incompetent and the customer service is awful. I gave up on using the $5 of 25 coupon from the get go because that was the first thing that wouldn't work. HOWEVER, I was still willing to pay $5 today to pickup Tinkerbell and preorder B & B. Here's the math: I owed $19.99 on Tinkerbell + $5 preorder B&B = $24.99. I used the $10 manufacturer's coupon, I used the $10 B&B promo = $4.99 subtotal plus tax. The problem was, my total kept ringing up as $11.24. No matter how many times I went over the math, 3 different people couldn't seem to get it right. I stood there for over 20 minutes before I got so unnerved I asked for my $10 pre-pay back and left. There were 3 other customers in the store with the same problem. I'm no longer a Toys R Us customer and I will be happy to go to Target when B&B comes out and pay $14.99 for the Blu-Ray version(after coupon, which was really the only reason I was doing the deal, like some others have said. I realized that if I can't use the $5 off $25 coupon, I'd be paying a total of $20 for both movies, which isn't that great of a deal anyway for all the hassle. (Melea's math was wrong on the original post.) If you paid $10 plus tax when you picked up Tinkerbell, you should realize that you'll end up spending a total of $25 plus tax for both movies. You decide if its worth it or not.

I bought Tinkerbell in Orem, and it turned out great! They wouldn't let me do the pre-order for B&B like you said, but I did the $10 gift card for the diaper genie that you posted today and ended up getting TB3+watch+charm bracelet+$10TRU gift card for only $6.70 after that $10 gift card, $10 coupon, and $5/$25 coupon. As a matter of fact, the cashier messed up and only charged me $1.37 instead of $6.70…she couldn't figure out how to fix it and neither could her manager, so they just let it go. In the end, I paid $1.37 ONLY (they gave me the cash back from the rest of the $10 I'd paid to pre-order) for the Blu-Ray/DVD combo, watch, bracelet, AND $10 gift card!!

Th Sugarhouse Toys R Us was amazing. I had no problems. They let me preorder Beauty and the Beast and they were very nice and accomadating even though they had to run it through twice to get it to work.

I just picked up my pre ordered tinkerbell from Layton, I just picked somthing else that was about $5.oo and was able to use both coupons. I figured I would have bought the movie anyway so I pretty much got a cheap toy free with the 5.00 coupon. Thanks for all you help finding all the deals!

I was in a rush when I went to the Murray location and am kicking myself for not checking comments and my email before I headed over today! I did talk to two different workers and both gave me grief about using the 5 off 25 coupon. I was so bugged and keep going over my receipt and just think is it all worth it? Maybe I'll just go return it all, ugh but then how messy will that be? I'm so bugged!

Layton Toys-R-Us ran out of Dvd/BlueRay. They started selling the DVD for 19.99 and they even took my 5 off $25 (because I complained about my "deal" I was going to get with the other $29.99)) and my $10 off disney coupon. I got a $10 GC back because I pre-ordered so all in all I made $5 off of the whole deal. I live in Bountiful and it was well worth the trip for the movie that I will be giving my 3 girls to "share" for Christmas!

I have to admit that I made out with this deal!! Some how my TB movie was only ringing up $9.99 and so I ended up getting the TB movie- TB watch- $10 gift card-charm bracelet- & pre-ordered B&B all for about $.72. Don't ask me how it happened. I didn't even try to use the $5 off $25 because if B&B is only $5 to pre-order and not the original $10 we thought then the $5's in a way cancel each other out. I have my $10 B&B coupon and $10 gift card so we will see what surprises unfold when I go to pick up B&B. Sorry you guys are having all of these problems. It's still a killer deal for the movies with everything else that comes along with them (bracelet, charms, and watches etc.)

I went to Sugarhouse today and They were out of blu-rays. Which sucked as Ilive in the south end of the vally but wne to sugar house last week to preorder to visit with my sister who lives near there. The manager was completly nice.. took my information and told me he would put one aside from the shipment they are suppsed to get in on friday and that he would honor my 5 off 25 coupon next week when i came to pick up tinkerbell. so If there is another deal like this in the future.. make a trip to the sugarhouse one… they seem to be the most understanding…

I took the time to email corporate on Tuesday and they got back to me yesterday. They are refunding my pre-order in the form of a $10 gift card since my movie wasn't actually available when I went to pick it up. I'm pleased with this and those who, like me, had no luck at the Layton store…send them an email or give them a call. We need to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future and the more complaints they get, the more likely they are to fix it. Plus, what is all this about a watch? I didn't get a watch when I picked my movie up on Wednesday.

I've contacted corporate. They have been just as horrible as my manager. Different stories one after the other. As far as being out of B&tB presale – my store hid the B&tB cards. I eventually found them. The boxes that held them in the original spot were empty to look like they were out.
