  1. I tried this at my Smiths in Pleasant Grove, Utah and the diapers were priced at $9.77 each and the $3.00 off a $15.00 purchase brought them down to $8.99. I really feel like it was false advertising, but they would not honor the advertisement so I returned the diapers. Rite Aid has a great deal going on right now so I went there instead. Thought you'd like to know.

  3. On page 7 of the Smart Source insert from Sunday, it has the prices listed. SO if you have that, take it with you! They have to honor their advertised prices or you can sue.

  5. I used my free filler item as the free mouse pad ($12.99 value) that I printed off last week. But there are so many coupons from Rite Aid Videos that you could use, so even if you don't have a completly free item, it's still totally worth it.

  6. This deal is listed in the Smith's ad that starts tomorrow. Do they have to honor it today? I wouldn't think so but I don't know.

  7. Brooke-Their ad in the Sunday Coupon Smart Source insert states valid from 5/16. So, they SHOULD be honoring it today.

  8. I have a super long story about this, but I will just keep it short. It's working now and it should work when you check out. Just FYI you can only do this once per smith card account. The ad had the wrong dates on it, but they will still honor it if you bought diapers and it didn't work.

  9. I just did this deal at the Smith's in Draper and it didn't work at checkout but I showed the checker the ad in the insert and she simply gave me $3 in cash.

  10. I did it at my Smith's in South Jordan…the Huggies were priced at 9.77 on the shelf, but at checkout they rang up as $8.99 and there was $3.00 automatically taken off in the transaction. I got 2 packs, used 2 coupons and used $4 catalina, so only had to pay $6! I thought the $3.00 was going to come as a catalina afterwards, because I didn't realize it had already come off in the transaction. But it all made sense when I looked at my receipt. 🙂

  11. I just have to tell you that I bought 4 boxes of cereal, 1 box of cake mix, 1 tub of frosting, and a bag of cookies all for $2.99! I thought that was a great deal! That makes every item about .42 cents! Wow! Thank you for your site. I never would have known about the Smith's coupon deal and the catalinas.

  12. It worked at the Smith's in Saratoga Springs. Thanks Melea! I'm still pretty new at couponing (and feel a little intimidated especially when I'm approaching the check out). Getting todays deal helped me feel more confident. Tomorrow I'm going to try to price match at Walmart 🙂

  13. It was pulling like teeth I got my money back on 2 transactions for the 3.00. Made a 3rd transaction and they let me do it so for the jumbo pack, wipes container, and refill with the coupons that came out this week, and their special. I paid 9.61! They just swiped the (3.00) coupon twice because it wasn't bringing it up!

  14. I posted earlier about my Smiths and they just changed the prices to the advertised price of $8.99 and the $3.00 came off as well! I wish they would all be on the same page when the sale actually starts.

  15. So I'm still confused.. Smith's will let you use 2 different manufacturer coupons in one transaction? I'm about to have a baby next month and I would love to get a little stock pile going.

  16. it says on the coupons I printed from coupons.com limit one coupon per purchase.. so.. I'm confused. Please help!

  17. Heddomarie-Every single store that accepts coupons will let you use one coupon per item. When it says one coupon per purchase, it just means that you cannot use two coupons on one item. So, you can buy 3 packs of huggies and use 3 coupons.

  19. I am so mad at Smiths in Lehi. I bought 1 box of diapers $8.99, 1 Huggies refill wipes $5.99 and 1 regular box of wipes $2.59..it is obviously over the $15..but after my $3 coupons for the diapers and my $2 for the wipes refill and reg. wipes it brought it below $15..so they wouldn't take the $3 instantly off..does that makes sense? I didn't think it was right but an old guy behind me was so mad..he said every time anyone has coupons it messes up everyone else in line.."coupons always cause problems" he said..he was pretty grouchy and so I just said "fine"..I'm still mad though..$3 is $3. I also messed up on the cheez-its..you can only do 6 boxes in a single transaction..I did 9 so I didn't get the additional $3 on that..oh well..live and learn!

  20. Suzanne, you should take your receipt to customer service and see if they can give you a refund of $3. It should have worked. Take the cheeze-its back. You won't get the coupons that you used but you'll get your money to spend on some other awesome deal:)
