Walgreens Best Deals 2/28- 3/6

This is an awesome week for Walgreens!!  One quick pointer for everyone.  When you get your Register Reward at checkout, write down on the back what you bought to get the item.  It is going to get tricky!  If you decide to buy a Tylenol Cold item, you cannot buy the Benadryl, Sudafed or Children’s Tylenol and pay for it with the Register Reward from Tylenol Cold.  It is all a part of the same Register Reward Deal.  So, just double check that you aren’t using the wrong Register Rewards for your transactions, or you won’t get a new Register Reward at checkout.

If you are new to Walgreens, read the next few paragraphs.  If not, you can skip down to the deals below.

Please remember that Walgreens has an 8 page ad and a 16 page ad.  Depending on where you live, it is completely different.  Utah gets the 8 page ad.  Since that is where I live, I will only be posting the 8 page ad deals.  If you check other coupon sites, remember that all of the deals they post may not be available to your area!!

If you are new to shopping at Walgreens or just want to know the couponing rules, make sure you read my How to Walgreens post about here.  It will go over all of the coupon rules and give you some tips!

**For all you Draper, Utah residents, the manager Nick, over at the Draper Walgreens on 13th East and 12300 South is awesome when it comes to coupons.  He understands how the system works and everything else!  I know you won’t have any problems while he is working.

Walgreens can be a difficult place to shop sometimes.  **If you are new to couponing and need to know what RR stands for or how to use coupons at Walgreens, check out the Couponing 101 posts here, here and here.

**SS stand for Smart Source, RP stands for Red Plum, PG stands for Proctor and Gamble.  They are all coupon inserts from the Sunday paper.  I also give you links to printable coupons.  So, if you don’t get a Sunday paper, there are still a lot of great deals you can get with printable coupons. If one is available, I will give you a direct link to it.

You can get a copy of the Walgreens Ad in stores.  Also the March coupon booklet can be found in stores next to the Walgreens Ads. The Diabetes and You Booklet is located in the Pharmacy.  It is free.

**Remember guys that your coupon amount may be different depending on what state you live in, or even depending on your region!

  1. can you use your register rewards for another deal on here that includes more register rewards or will they not print out that way?

  2. If you are purchasing several things in one transaction that are eligible for RR's will they all print or not? I'm new to Wag's deals, so I have been doing everything in separate transactions.

  3. Girls:Yes, you can use other register rewards and still get a new register reward at checkout… as long as the RR isn't for the same item.If you are purchasing several RRs, they SHOULD all print out. The reason I do several transactions is because I like to spend as little out of pocket as possible. So I use the RR from the first transaction and use it on one of the others.Melea

  5. Hi Laura-You won't be able to go back and get past Red Plum coupons from the paper. So, you will want to sign up for a Sunday Only subscription to get those in the future. You can check out all of the newspaper deals I worked out specially for all of my readers through the button on the right hand side of my website. It is the best price you will find anywhere! Also, you will see a way to sign up to get the Red Plum inserts mailed to you, if they aren't delivered in your paper. Hope that helps!Melea

  6. I just got back from Walgreens in Riverton and the Purex is Buy one get one free. If you still have that B1G1 coupon for Purex, you might want to head over there.

  7. I'm sorry if this is a clueless question but where is the Pond's coupon for $1.50? Is it in the Walgreen's booklet for March or is it somewhere else? Just went through all my SS and RP and couldn't find one. TIA
