Walgreens Best Deals 1/31- 2/6

Please remember that Walgreens has an 8 page ad and a 16 page ad.  Depending on where you live, it is completely different.  Utah gets the 8 page ad.  Since that is where I live, I will only be posting the 8 page ad deals.  If you check other coupon sites, remember that all of the deals they post may not be available to your area!!

If you are new to shopping at Walgreens or just want to know the couponing rules, make sure you read my How to Walgreens post about here.  It will go over all of the coupon rules and give you some tips!

**For all you Draper, Utah residents, the manager Nick, over at the Draper Walgreens on 13th east is awesome when it comes to coupons.  He understands how the system works and everything else!  I know you won’t have any problems while he is working.

Walgreens can be a difficult place to shop sometimes.  **If you are new to couponing and need to know what RR stands for or how to use coupons at Walgreens, check out the Couponing 101 posts here, here and here.

**SS stand for Smart Source, RP stands for Red Plum, PG stands for Proctor and Gamble.  They are all coupon inserts from the Sunday paper.  I also give you links to printable coupons.  So, if you don’t get a Sunday paper, there are still a lot of great deals you can get with printable coupons. If one is available, I will give you a direct link to it.

You can get a copy of the Walgreens Ad in stores.  Also the February coupon booklet can be found in stores next to the Walgreens Ads. The Diabetes and You Booklet is located in the Pharmacy.  It is free.

  1. Do you know if you can use the Pepsi products for both rebates? One for the $7.50 and one for the $10? It does mention one per household, but I think they are considered two separate offers. Right?

  2. Yes, they are two completely different rebates. You just need to buy different products for both since you need to turn in original receipts. So you can use pepsi products for both.

  3. melea, do you know why walgreens & rite aid have much smaller ads in UT than the rest of the country? it makes me sad and feeling left out! I wanted to do the bayer BG monitor deal for a big moneymaker that is going on at boths wags & RA in other states this week. You have not heard of a bayer meter deal available in UT county have you?

  4. Where do you get the rebate forms for the Coors rebate?

  5. I think it is because we are just a smaller market. I know it is definitely annoying. I havent heard of any Bayer Meter Deals, but I will be on the lookout. To find the rebate forms for the Coors rebate, check the post right above this one. I wrote an entire post about it.

  6. Ben & Jerry's pint ice cream is on sale 2/$5. In UT Walgreens I saw tearpads on the window of the freezer door where ice cream is with coupons for $1 off B&J's. These coupons were there in January and may still be there. Today I got 2 pints ice cream for $3 (actually it was cheaper because of the scalpicin & blinktears that were money makers).

  7. I went to Walgreens in Kaysville to get Toblerone bars and the 2 for $1 is after the in store coupon so they were 50 cents instead of free. Still a good deal though:)

  8. I just went to Walgreens and did SEVERAL transactions to get the RR's. On the Zicam transaction I forgot to give them my $2/1 coupon (frustrating) but I'm wondering if they would have taken it anyway, the price is $7 after the $3 coupon on the package, would this have been trying to use 2 mfg coupons?

  9. You did it perfectly. Since you used the $3.00 coupon on the package, you couldn't have used the $2.00 coupon too. I posted that just in case the $3.00 package coupons weren't available.

  10. I'm just wondering about the RR. Today I bought Blink eyedrops and the Vitamin Schtick at the Draper Walgreens on 13th East, which generated RR. Well, not really. I had to speak to the manager to have them print out. I wanted to use the RR from that transaction on the Pepsi deal. When I spoke to her she said that if I used the RR from this transaction on the Pepsi deal (or any other deal) it will not generate RR. I am now so confused! I thought you just could not use them on the same brands to get RR's. She said that it's a new thing with the computers. ??? Any thoughts?

  11. To my knowledge, nothing has changed. Walgreens just does not understand their own systems. You are right. You can use your RR to buy anything else, except the item you got the RR from. I do it all of the time and so does everyone else. I have no idea why they said that.

  12. Thank you, Melea, for your reply. I will try again on a different deal, hopefully with better luck. 🙂
