Last night, I went and got my Free 5 lb bag of sugar at the new Fresh Market. If you haven’t heard, Fresh Market is taking over most of the Alberstons in Utah. If you go into a store and give them your old Albertson’s savings card, then you can get a 5lb bag of sugar for free! It took me about 20 seconds to do!
Since the store is owned by Associated Food Stores, they should take any coupons from papers or magazines. However, they won’t take printable ones. I will confirm this for sure! But, just wanted to give you a heads up. If anyone knows for sure about their coupon policy, leave a comment so we all know!

At Macey's back in May, they gave me a huge hassle with printed coupons but then said as long as they were printed from the same place as the Grocery Guru then they would take them. I'm assuming RedPlum and SS. I was new at couponing at the time and wasn't sure where he got his so I didn't press it. I haven't tried to go back and use them but because they did say that (and she was a manager) I'm guessing you could fight it out. I am willing to try at the new Fresh market. Hopefully SOMEONE at this new store will know. Alberston's had some major communication problems.
