I’m appalled at the way the staff at Walgreen’s treated me when I asked for a free sample. The location in sugarhouse said they had no free samples and then when I asked for a coupon, the girl at the counter acted like if I was not purchasing anything today only, she wouldn’t give me a coupon either. I got her name and store manager’s phone number so I can let them know later. So I proceeded to go to another Walgreen’s at 33rd s and highland only to get the same kind of attitude for the “beauty consultant” there. She was an older woman who when I asked if she had free samples, she said yeah, behind the counter. So I asked for one and FINALLY received one to try this new product. She told me I have coupons too. So I asked for one and she was like, well this sale is only good for today, and I only have them for this sale. Are you buying today? I tell her that I was going to wait until I got paid on Friday and she’s like, oh so your not buying any today? And if you decide to, I can give you a coupon. I’ll give you a minute to think about it. This behavior makes me not want to shop at Walgreen’s and kind of makes me upset that I went specifically to try this product.
