    • Brandy, do you think you could send me your receipt for the coupon? Wbriceno@msn.com

  5. I rented it this morning with a free code that I received via text and didn’t get the coupon. I did receive the rental confirmation via email, but no coupon was included.

  6. I just talked to Redbox cause I rented it the last two nights and never got the coupon with my receipt. They representative said that it comes in the return receipt. So when you return your movie you should get a receipt in your email and it is towards the bottom. She said that it is a link to get it. Hope that helps.

  8. I called redbox because I didn’t get the link for the coupon either. There are 4 states that are not offering the coupon code. Utah is one of them. So if you live in Utah you won’t be able to get the coupon.

    • Thanks for posting this Jenn. I live in UT and was wondering why I didn’t get one.

    • Is Alabama one of the four states? I did not receive a coupon either!

  10. We rented it just last week, and so we will be looking for this coupon too. We don’t live in Utah, so no code for a free movie for us. We should get the coupon for money off the movie to purchase though. They should do this for everyone anyway.

  12. They will not give the promo coupon no matter how hard you try. However, I was able to negotiate 5 free rentals. Good Luck ladies.

  13. After spending an hour or so on the phone with Redbox and Sony Entertainment…I too was only able
to receive 5 free rentals…what a joke! False advertising on Redbox. I even told them that. They gave
me excuse after excuse why I didn’t get the link for the coupon. Not happy with them at all..at least Sony tried to help me find some answers but they couldn’t do anything because it was through Redbox.

  14. I sent an email to Redbox last night and less than 24 hours later I had a response email with 5 free DVD rental codes. Still stinks that we don’t get the coupon, but at least we get something. Emailing is a faster way than spending time on the phone if you are wanting results. Good luck!

  15. Hi, I rented it last night & returned it today to only find out that the promo expired on Monday. It doesn’t say anywhere when it expires. I wouldn’t have wasted my time or money. Does anyone have a coupon link that they are willing to share. I was hoping to buy it for my kiddos for Valentine’s Day. Thanks in advance;)

  17. I found out from Redbox that there was only small window in which this offer was valid. If you rented from 1.29.13 – 2.11.13 then the coupon would have been sent via email upon the return of the movie. I feel a little slighted because it doesn’t mention this on their website.
I rented it for my kids to watch on Valentines Day while the hubs & I were out. Will probably buy it, but would have loved to have done so with at deal! ðŸ™

    you cannot afford to travel.
