You are the BEST! I searched all Christmas long last year for this, and it was always out of stock. Just a heads up, LOTS of these games are clearance at Walmarts in Utah. I’ve been to several in Salt and Utah County that have them discounted! 🙂

These are perfect for the kids because it gives them their “own” so that they dont always want to play with your real ipad/iphone/etc. I bought one a while back for way more than this price! It would be great idea to get this and save it for Birthdays or Christmas!

My tip for this toy is to put the LeapFrog App Center Download Card into your Amazon shopping basket. Every now and then the price will drop (I check my Amazon cart every day, and it tells me what has changed in price) and then you can snag $20 worth of app downloads for a lot less. I’ve gotten them as low as $13ish. Right now they are listed at $18ish, so not a bad deal either.

Just an idea for those who have kids getting on the older side. My mother-in-law got my 7 year old an Innotab for Christmas (I know not the same…but the same concept). After we opened it, we realized that it was way too young for her. We decided to return it, got the money back, and for $10 more, we got her a lightly used Nook Color instead (you can always find these on KSL or Craigslist for about $100). She has loved it and since we rooted it, she can get so many apps and download chapter books from the library for free, so you’re not having to pay extra for games. We got her a screen protector and case so that she has less of a chance to break it. My husband put all his music from his MP3 player on it so she listens to music on it every night before she goes to sleep. It’s also expandable to 16 GB so you have plenty of room. It’s been great for us!

Excellent apps from Leapfrog too….my Pre-K son wants nothing to do with practicing letters or sounds but with Leapfrog he doesn’t even realize he’s practicing. Thinks he’s just playing video games like the big kids!
