The food banks are ALWAYS in need of baby formula. Please sign up for the formula samples even if you aren’t planning on using them. Anything that you do not use can be donated to the food bank to help families who are in need. The samples that the formula companies send are often quite large and can be enough to feed a baby for 1-3+ days.

I love all the deals on here. I am expecting also and due in November. when it is a good time to start stocking up on diapers and wipes and since this is my first what sizes are good to stock up on. I don’t want to purchase them and not use them. any suggestions.

I would stock up on size 1 and 2. Depending on the size of your baby, you might not need newborns for very long. I used them for about a month or so since my daughter was in the NICU and tiny.

Brittany, I don’t think you can have too many wipes, since you’ll be changing diapers for a few years. As far as diapers go, it really depends on the size of your baby. Since this is your first, there’s really no way of telling how big he/she will be. My babies are tiny and stay in newborn size diapers for about a month, but most average size babies will only stay in them for a week or two, if they even fit in them at all. If you’re going to have a baby shower, chances are you’ll get a pack or two of newborn size and that should be good enough. I would buy a couple hundred of size 1 to get prepared for the baby to come. You can play it by ear after that. I know that my kids were in size 2 for a super long time, but again, they’ve always been small. Good luck, and congratulations!

I am having my first baby in August and was wondering if this Amazon deal is better than the diapers you buy in bulk at Sam’s Club. I have a membership there. Would Amazon be a better way to buy diapers or Sam’s? Does anybody have any advice? I’m overwhelmed by the price of diapers!

Please let me know of any good deals for clothes, equipment, diapers, wipes, etc. I appreciate all the information you give. Somehow I seem to not get such great deals on baby items though. I do get 5 papers each week, and do well on paper products and food. Are there any hints you can give me that I am missing on the baby products. Thanks.
