Update: Hey everyone!! Just a heads up for those of you who have purchased this. You will want to print off a copy of the 12 Count Lysol page and take it with you when you go to pick up your order. It clearly states that it is a 12 pack of Lysol. But I have had a reader call Home Depot because of ordering problems and they say that this deal was a possible error. So, take in your order confirmation and the description saying it is a 12 pack. And, in my opinion, they should honor this purchase, since it was a mistake on their part!
This is one crazy stock up price for Lysol… and you probably won’t have to purchase it again for quite some time! Maybe even give a few to your kid’s teachers for the classroom.
Right now, Home Depot has a 12 Count Lysol Disenfectant Spray for only $5.97! That means each can is only $.50! And, when you add them to your cart, you can actually choose to pick the items up at the store to save on shipping.
Killer deal for sure!!
**If you do not have a Home Depot store that has them in-stock, shipping will make each can around $1.34- which is awesome for never leaving your home.

It’s showing on that link that they are $84.00 for a 12-pack when i did a search on their site under lysol the cheapest 12-pk was for $64.00. ðŸ™

There are two different listings for it–I found the one that is $5.97 just a second ago. I’m guessing it is a price mistake, though, and it’s supposed to be $52.97 like another one of the sprays. We’ll see!

I just clicked on the link and it took me to the page. The site was slow, but it did go through and I have an order number and it says that it is “being processed”. I’ll have the hubby pick it up on the way home from work tonight. Yay! This will be great for flu season.

**Just make sure you actually get your pick up confirmation before you go in. They could just cancel orders.. but that would be a disappointing move on their part.

Try the “pick up in store” option to see if any stores in your area have it, it will tell you the amount each store has, then pay for it and pick it up there, even if it’s sold out online.

The Ogden Home Depot WOULD NOT honor mine. I just barely went in and they did not even have a case of it to sell me. The guy was really nice about it, but I was disappointed:( That was definetly a “too good to be true” deal.

Just came from the Orem Home Depot, they will not honor the deal, they are saying that it isn’t their site that is advertising the deal. The only offer they gave me was to do a buy 1 get one free, I told them No Deal! I can buy it cheaper than 6 dollars a can somewhere else.

They also said that the other 5 women that had come in only took the one can, they said i was the first to tell them that it was meant to be a case of them for 5.97, manager wouldn’t budge, very unhappy with Home Depot.

Got my order conf. then went up there and the manager came up to me and said they got an e-mail from corp not to honor any of the deals. He didnt even offer anything for the trouble just kept saying it was a mistake and nothing he could do. I was so mad. I really wanted to donate these to my kids school.

They can’t change the contract retroactively unless both sides agree. That’s the law. (Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, but I’ve been advised by my company’s lawyers that offers must be honored.)

Ha ha it’s not a contract. You are way off base. Any company reserves the right to change prices at will. It is their discretion on if they honor the price or not…they should as it’s the right thing to do but it is in no way a legal binding document. Read the fine print on any website or printed ad. Your company needs new lawyers.

I got a phone call from Home Depot letting me know that my online purchase had been cancelled and was given a number I could call if I had any concerns. I just asked if my card would be charged and she said that it would not be charged. I hope not. Oops on their part, but at least they had the decency to give me a direct call.

Ok, they kinda honored it. They gave me 12 cans (I had ordered 2 cases), someone else had ordered also, and they only had 24 cans total. It’s still a good deal at about $1/can.

I just got off the phone with the Home Depot customer service line (1-800-430-3376) and they told me they had cancelled the product for order and there was nothing they could do but offered me a $25 gift card by mail for the inconvenience. I went into the store, they tried to tell me my order was actually for TWO cans (though it clearly states 12 ct.). I told them I would be back when they had restocked!!! They tried to offer me 9 cans instead of the 24 I had ordered. (2 cases of 12 ct.) I fully intend on getting my deal!!!!!
