They no longer want to let me use the $1.00 off coupon for tide trail pk or the $.50 off coupon for the trail Cascade. Is it true that you can no longer use a B1G1F coupon with another coupon on the two items purchased? I was also seeing other people say that the trident gum had went down to $.25 but when I checked my Walmart it didn’t.

I’ve had a cashier give me a difficult time for using $1/1 any size coupon when the cost of the product is less than $1. This is the case of the tide trial and the cascade. The register beeps at them and requires them to override each purchase. I’ve had cashiers tell me I can’t use an overage coupon, but Walmart’s policy says “If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase.” This is why it is very important to take the coupon policy with you. Then, you show the cashier that the coupon says “on any” with no size restriction and the store policy clearly let’s you get cents back.

The Nivea body wash at my store is $3.97 and I can’t find the Nestle Nesquik Pouch (7-serving) $1.00 no where, should I search other stores or is it because I live in NC that the prices might be different?

At my store the Nesquik was located on the same shelf as the larger sized Nesquik containers. Maybe call the customer service of the stores in your area and they should be able to check their inventory before you go driving all over. And yes, prices at Walmart often vary by region, even within the same city sometimes.

Tiffany, the pocket packs are near the registers. I’ve used these several times and though I’ve read some having problems – I’ve always pointed out that these are pocket packs not trial and they work for me.

I found these Advil pocket packs but when the cashier scanned the coupon nothing happen, he said it didn’t give him an error either, but it didn’t not take off for the coupon. I ended up having him void off the products because a customer behind me was giving a pissed off look 🙂

I tried to use the $1 off tide coupon for the trial size tide at walmart and the register kept rejecting it. The cashier said it’s because it’s not a full size tide like the picture. I said there is no size restrictment noted on the coupon. So he tells me, “so how much is the trial size?”. I said, “97 cents”. He then replies, “So, Walmart is supposed to pay you an overage just for shopping with us?”. I said, “Yes they do!”. He still wouldn’t take the coupon and was tired so I told him forget it, I’ll go elsewhere, give me back my coupons and he cancelled the transaction. I thought he was very RUDE!

This is the same experience I have had at Walmart, the cashier holds up the coupons like they are fake and looks at me like a criminal…I am a very quiet person and this kind of treatment makes me want to discontinue using the coupons, however, I am short on money, so I keep trying to use them, and just mentally gear myself up before going. It’s like these cashier’s think we’re trying to pull something over on Walmart, why do they care if I get a really good deal on something? Just needed to vent.

Make sure you take the store policy with you any time you use coupons then you can show the cashier that they need to study their store’s policies a little better. If the cashier is rude I always ask for a manager. Then the cashiers are the ones getting the looks from their managers!

i went to walmart today and i ran into a problem at the register and maybe you guys can help. i was doing the buy the olay bar for $.99 and get a free satin shave gel deal from a couple of weeks ago, and when i showed up to register the lady told me i couldnt get the shave gel for free because their system would automatically discount the cheapest item (being the olay bar) and i explained to her that the coupon would give me the shave gel for free with the purchase of any olay product no size restriction and she just said that her system would only take the dollar off from the olay body bar. did anyone run into anything similar? thanks

I haven’t heard of this particular problem, but Walmart should be taking the coupons for what they say they are for on the actual coupon. My suggestion would be to ask for a supervisor or manager and take a copy of the coupon policy.

Will Wal-Mart price match a local ad and then let you use a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item. Example: Cereal $2.29, ad price $1.29, coupon $1 off. Making the total price of the cereal $0.29. PLEASE HELP! I’m so confused.

I was unable to find the Air Wick Freshmatic Starter kit for $4.97. The lowest price I found was $8.97, this was a big difference so I’m not sure if anyone else ran into this problem. Also, I was unable to find the *NEW* Febreze Travel Size $1.97

There were two different Freshmatic starter kits at my store. One had a refill included in the package and that price was $8.97. The $4.97 price I posted is just for the started kit with none of the refills in the box. Maybe that was the difference? Also, the Febreze travel size was located in the Travel section at my Walmart, on the very bottom shelf next to the small laundry detergent boxes… Hope that helps!
