Reminder, Taxes are due in just 3 Days!  Unfortunately, I am probably going to have to file an extension… taxes get super hard when you have business. :)  I think I just need an accountant so I don’t have to worry about it and can focus on finding deals instead.  Wouldn’t that be nice?

Have you already filed your taxes?  If not, you can file, print and eFile for free on Turbo Tax or H&R Block!  I’ve used Turbo Tax the past few years and LOVE it.  They find all of my deductions for me and it has been super easy.

Remember, taxes need to be completed by April 18th this year. We only have about 3 days!

  1. Actually, Emancipation Day will be celebrated on the 15th this year instead of the normal 16th so returns are not due until Monday April 18th.

  2. I also run a small business and last year I finally got an accountant to handle both our business and personal taxes. It has been the best decision for me. I would highly recommend it. My accountant handles all the paperwork for my business taxes, workers comp, quarterly payroll, W-2’s, and federal withholding all for around $500 a year. He also does our personal taxes for $200 a year. Since the bulk of that money is due when we get our taxes back, it doesn’t feel like it is a burden. It caused so much stress between my husband and myself each year as we were trying to figure out our taxes, that it has been well worth the money. Anyway, I love your site and wish you luck with the taxes!

      • My husband and I run each run a small business. It is so easy to just take our stuff to the accountant and she takes care of the rest. We pay her $150 to do the taxes for both businesses and our personal taxes. So worth it!! 🙂
