I’ve posted about the 3-3-2 Rule a very long time ago, so I figured it was time to mention it again.
Basically a lot of major retail stores follow the 3-3-2 Rule. It means that the first 3 days after a major holiday they cut prices 50%, the next 3 days they will cut prices 75% and the last 2 days they mark items at 90% off! After that, everything is cleared off the shelves.
So for example, today is April 27th and 3 days after Easter. So tomorrow, should be when stores cut prices to 75% off- if they haven’t already.
You will notice that larger Holidays stick more strictly to the 3-3-2 Rule while smaller Holidays can be reduced more quickly to make room for the next Holiday’s Seasonal Items.
**Plus, remember you can use ANY coupon on top of a clearance sale. So, check your candy coupons. I’m pretty sure we have the Starburst Jelly Beans coupon that hasn’t expired yet and a few others. That could mean some pretty cheap candy!
