Are you done with winter yet? I sure am! I’m trying really hard to enjoy the crisp air and snowy mountains. However, when February comes around, I tend to get antsy for spring. The one thing I do love during winter is soup…and lots of it! I make a soup nearly every week during the winter season. I’ve found quite a few that I like, but I’ll narrow it down to 5 to share with you.
It’s the week of love and Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. Hopefully you’ve got plans made and you’re ready to spoil your significant other. I also hope you’ve kept in mind your significant others love language, remember we don’t all speak the same love language. What are you doing this weekend? If just sitting around being broke sounds like all you can afford, not to worry! I’ve got some ideas of ways to get you out of the house without spending a fortune! 🙂Â
Do you have plans this Valentine’s Day? In case you didn’t know, Valentine’s Day falls this coming Friday. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like spending a lot of money on Valentine’s Day, additionally, I’m not a big fan long waits and busy crowds when I go out to dinner, so I have no plan of going out on Friday.Â
I have spent a little bit of time cruising around Groupon today to see if I can find some awesome things for my family and I to do in the upcoming weeks and I have spotted some seriously fun stuff!
The other day my sister was a little irritated that her local schools don’t allow candy with their Valentine’s. However, the more we thought about it, the more it made us happy. There are SO many cute Valentine’s that don’t require sugar and they are just as fun, if not more so. Here are a few different ideas that you can use this Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is the day of love. That doesn’t mean just your spouse or significant other, you can celebrate with your children as well. They’re anxious to feel loved and need us to express that to them, and who doesn’t love a reason to celebrate! Not all children feel loved through gifts so think of your own child as you come up with some fun ways to celebrate the love you have for them. Here’s a few way we plan to celebrate this year!
A diagnosis of a chronic disease or other long term health issue is one of the hardest things to hear, and it may be just as difficult to hear that a loved one has been diagnosed. You may just be learning about the diagnosis and gathering information about ways to make life with a long term health issue easier, or you may be looking for ways to replace or supplement the treatment you or someone you love is receiving.
Do you have pets? Are you considering getting a pet for your family? Pets are such a wonderful addition to our lives and our families, but there are definitely expenses that come along with adding these family members in. That’s right, pets do become a part of our family.Â
Do you have kids? Would you like to spoil them this Valentine’s Day? I don’t know about you, but I love to make our Valentine’s Day celebrations family friendly. We plan fun, family friendly activities and I like to spoil the kids with gifts.Â
