My husband I were sitting at our computers waiting to buy these. Can you put them in your cart before or do you have to wait until the deal pops up? Just curious did anyone get one? Does anyone have tips on how to get these deals? I will sit and watch it count down to the second and still can’t get them.

How do you get these? I was watching for the 16GB ipod touch that was available at 1:30 PST. I watched the time go down from 15 m to 0m 0s and they were gone before it even gave me an option to add to cart. It just went from showing time remaining before the deal started to just sitting there at 0m 0s. They must only have 1 of each item if you can’t even get to add it to your cart when you watch the time go down to 0 m 0 s.

As soon as it went available I clicked on it to claim it and it said I was on the waitlist. Then a few minutes later a box popped up in the corner of my screen that siad I could now add it to my cart, I added it and checked out. I’m excited but bummed for the people that didn’t get it, Idon’t know how I did and you didn’t. 🙁

We ended up being able to get some too. One thing I learned is you need to click your color. You can be on the waitlist for several different colors at the same time too. It said our chance was poor of getting one and in the end we were offered three, pink, silver and yellow.

It was $145 for the iPod touch 16 GB. Best Buy has it for $195 plus you get a $50 best buy gift card with purchase on Black Friday if you really want one.

Just a little bummed. Know I will be able to find a similar deal, not quite as good. I was there and waiting and It got the ADD TO CART button, press it and then it said Checking Deal Status forever and then after like 2 minutes just kicked me out. I kind of thought I was in. Bummer.

First time I ever tried a lightning deal. My daughter has been saving her money for a year to get an ipod touch this black friday so when I saw this possible deal I waited. I clicked as soon as it went live and then chose the size and color. It said checking deal status for the whole hour til the deal expired. I am sooo disappointed. Is that normal? I was so hoping I was in and just had to wait!

I got the new ipod touch in the color I wanted. As soon as the deal went live I was put on the wait list. After almost a half hour, I was then able to put one in my cart. So excited!
