Ummm I singed up and it said they will be sending me 10 issues for $10.00 I thought it was an entry form not to sign up for a magazine subscription?

The same thing that happened to Crystal happened to me. It said it was going to bill me $10 and start sending me issues. All I wanted was the free lipgloss…..I do not want to receive seventeen nor pay $10 for it.

It looks like you can cancel the subscription to save the $10. This is from the website…
“If you like what you see, you’ll get 9 more issues (10 in all) for just $10.00 — that’s 67% less than others pay on the newsstand. If not, return the bill marked “cancel” and keep the first issue with no obligation. You’ll still be eligible to win the sweepstakes. “

Yeah, very confusing. As my 4 yr old would say “not awesome!”. Shame on Seventeen for such a confusing and lame giveaway/sweepstakes.

There’s also an option to “click here” just to enter the sweepstakes and not order the magazine. It’s just above where you enter your name.

I wish I would have read these comments before I tried to get a free lip gloss! I can’t figure out how to cancel my subscription. I clicked on customer service, and then a link that says “cancel my subscription”. But when I click on that link, it tells me to enter information, and then says that my information doesn’t exist. Grr! Does anyone know what to do? Thanks.

I just did the lipgloss freebie before I saw your comments. I don’t want a subscription to Seventeen. Has anyone figured out what to do so I won’t be stuck with this subscription and bill?

I just clicked on the link under where it said “No Purchase Necessary” and was able to submit my info without having to order anything.

If you click underneath where it asks you to make a subscription where it ways “No Purchase Necessary” you can just put in your information without having to pay or make a subscription. Hence the word “Free” 🙂
