  2. I just saw it on Amazon (both colors) for 49.69 with free shipping…a better deal.

  3. I think what you saw was the Learning Game handheld system, not the tablet/pad. I just looked on Amazon and these are selling for around $180.00, but the handheld learning gaming system was selling for around $49. Hope that helps, just don’t want you to order the wrong thing. Or, if I’m wrong, please share the link so we can all grab them. 🙂

  5. Out of stock in my area too. Amazon’s price right now is $182. Not seeing it anywhere on Amazon for $49.

  6. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was able to reserve one at a B&N about 20 miles away. Totally worth the travel to save $40 or so. Thanks for the heads up. I had been searching for a deal on these.

    • Where did you reserve it? I called and my B&N told me all stores were out of stock and would be for quite some time. For both the LeapPad and Explorer. Thanks.

  7. I got one reserved too, there are green ones in the phily store and pink ones in the plymouth meeting store. This only helps if you live in the west phily area. I can’t find them at the 4 stores closer to me. Thank you. My daughter will love it

  8. These seem to be sold out everywhere! Please update where you can get them for around $99.00.

  9. I’ve been looking at these for my kids, and you can find the Leap Pad at Walmart for $110. I’ve even seen them recently online for $99 at Target. Amazon’s price is really high–I don’t think they’ll be selling too many.

  10. Are you sure you can use the coupon? When you view product description it says “Note: This item does not qualify for coupons or promotional discounts unless expressly stated.” and the coupon also says “not valid on products marked as items not eligible for coupons or promotional discounts”. Has anyone actually been able to use the coupon with it.

  11. The K-mart in Davis County (UT) has them for $99…and they are IN stock. Everywhere I checked was either out of stock, or higher priced than $99.

  12. I picked up a Leapster Explorer for $41.95 roughly. Can you tell me if this was a good price??

    • I’ve been looking for one, too, and that’s the best price I have seen. Where did you get it? I just got a Leapfrog Explorer Bundle with the Explorer, carrying case, and a game for $69 on Amazon and I was happy with that based on what I have been seeing price-wise.

      • I used the above coupon at bn.com. 😀 After looking around on deals (both now and on Black Friday) I’m pretty happy!
Games are buy one get one at Toys R Us right now too, I believe.

        • You should definitely be happy! I’m jealous. 🙂 I tried to buy one at Barnes & Noble with this coupon, too, but when I called they were all sold out. She looked up all stores and they were out everywhere near me and she said their warehouse was out, too, due to the popularity of the item. She wasn’t sure when they would be getting anymore in (definitely after the coupon expires, of course. 🙂 ) That’s why I went ahead and bought the bundle online. I didn’t know about the online deal for BOGO free at TRU. Thanks!!

  18. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, you totally made my day! Got this post at 9:30 pm, called the store and they had 2 Vtech Innotabs left. (I’ve waivered between Innotab and LeapPad but they were out of LeapPad.) They put it on hold and I rushed over (Jordan Landing) before they closed. There were lots of Leapsters and V-readers still there. I was relieved they had the Innotab for $80 which is the same price every other retailer has it for. The coupon is also good on puzzle and games which can be pricey.

  24. I went to the BN in sandy this morning and if you take your coupon and prepay for the item they can order it and get the discount. Also, on BN.com they have a 50% off of 1 kids educational electronic item. So for those that live far away i would just wait for the black friday and then purchase it online

  25. i have two. brand new with receipts for each
    one green and one pink/purple.

    $200 each.

seems expensive now, but i know that all the stores in the northern hemisphere are out of stock, even leapster its self is out of stock, if they cant keep them selves stocked, they wont be able to stock stores.
i was on the “notify me ” list for leapfrog.com and they were gone in a single minute.
dont wait. if you can get one now, jump on it. and dont get off!!!

  26. Danielle,

You should be ashamed for doubling the price of this item just to line your personal pockets. I was able to order a green one online at B&N this afternoon for $99.00. I’ll just keep searching until I find my pink one thank you.
