I was invited to be on Good Things Utah again this morning. If you missed the show, or live outside of Utah, watch the video below.
“4 Things You Should NEVER Pay Full Price for!”
1- Photo Prints, Photo Wall Calendars and Other Personalized Stationary Items
There are a bunch of companies that offer 50 Free 4×6 Prints just for creating an account with them. All you have to do is pay a buck or two for shipping. So, you should definitely never pay full price for prints. Even if you are a hard-core scrapbooker! These same companies will have promo codes from time to time that can get your prints for as low as $.04 each. I know some stores advertise $.16 a print to make you think that is a good deal. But, you can do better!
As with every account, you must be signing up for a new account to get the free photos. Sign up for these accounts to get your Free 4×6 Prints:
See Here by Fuji Film- 50 Free Prints with code prints-6 and registering a new account. You can also make 29 4×8 Photo Cards to use as announcements or invitations for free! Check out my previous post about it here. The promo code should still be working.
Kodak Gallery – 50 Free Prints when registering a new account.
York Photo- 40 Free Prints when registering a new account.
Vistaprint- You can get a Free Photo Wall Calendar, 75% off Custom Invitations, Free 4×6 Photo Flip Book, 100 Mommy Contact Cards for $1.99 and 250 Business Cards Free! You can read my detailed post about it all here.
ArtsCow- Create a new account with them and you will get 1200 prints! Each month, you can get 100 4×6 prints and 50 5×7 prints. Get details here.
2- Many groceries you shouldn’t have to pay full price for. Today, I talked about Snacks! In particular, Target’s Gift Card deal for snacks. The two deals below use coupons from the Sunday paper. RP stands for Red Plum. It is one of the awesome coupon inserts you can get in the paper.
Buy 5 Boxes of Kellogg’s Fruit Crips for $2.50 each (Valid until March 13th)
Use 2 of the $1.00/1 Special K Fruit Crisp Coupons (Hurry before these are gone!!!)
And use 3 of the $.75/1 Fruit Crisp Coupons that just came out in the 02-21-10 RP
Also use 2 of the $1.00/2 Target Coupons for Special K Products from the 1-10-10 RP (this may vary by region)
You pay $6.25, but you get a $5.00 Gift Card Back.
Total cost $1.25 or $.25 a box!!
Buy 5 Sunshine Cheez-It 100 Calorie Right Bites $2.39 each
Use 5 of the $1.00/1 100 Caloire Right Bite Coupons from the 01-10-10 RP
You pay $6.95, but you get a $5.00 Gift Card Back
Total cost $1.95 for 5 boxes or $.39 each!
3- Another thing you should NEVER pay full price for is designer clothing, shoes, handbags and sunglasses. You can even get access to a FREE online personal shopper!
Beyond the Rack is one of my newest and most loved websites! Each day, they feature different designer duds….everything from clothing to sunglasses and shoes to handbags. They feature a huge range of designers so you will definitely see exactly what you want. For example, you can get $200 purses for $20- $40. If you have a craving for things like this, you shouldn’t pay anything close to full price! Plus, all of their items are guaranteed authentic.
Another great free service is called Shop It To Me. Shop It To Me is your online personal shopper. You enter in the size you wear and what brands of clothing you like to wear. They will scour the deals online and send you an email when one of your chosen items goes on sale or clearance. It definitely doesn’t get better than that! It is a great way to save on clothing without doing any of the leg work!
4- The last thing you should NEVER pay full price for are the Sunday Coupon Inserts. Each Sunday, the papers have coupon inserts inside of them. They can be from RedPlum, Smart Source, General Mills and Proctor and Gamble. A lot of the items you buy at the grocery store are usually in these coupon inserts.
On average, EACH WEEK you can get $150 worth of coupons in just one copy of the Sunday Paper. That’s over $600 each month in possible savings! I guarantee that the cost of your monthly Sunday Only Newspaper Subscription will be made up in your FIRST shopping trip with the coupons inside. That is pretty bold of me to say. But, it is true! Then you have the rest of the month to use the additional coupons! There is no reason to pay full price for your groceries.
You could call up the Newspaper and just take whatever they are offering. But I decided to get a great deal for Freebies2Deals readers and negotiated with them to get the Best Possible Sunday Only Rates! So, if you really want to start saving money on your grocery bill. The Sunday Newspaper Subscription is the ONLY way to do it! You can check out the Newspaper Subscription Post to see the negotiated rates for each of the papers. Make sure you mention Melea from Freebies2Deals to get the special rate!
**If you want to get incredible deals like the two above I mentioned from Target, you will need the coupon inserts. In those two transactions alone, you saved $21.25 because of coupons!
The truth is that there are a lot more than 4 Things You Should Never Pay For. But, here is a start. Keep checking the site each day to see what other things you can get an incredible deal on. I update throughout the day!
