Free Grocery Store Bingo Game Cards

Just in case you missed this post before… it should help keep your kiddos quiet at the Grocery Store!

I try really hard to go grocery shopping WITHOUT my kids each week by waiting until my husband is home or going at night when they are in bed because it’s a lot more stressful to have them with me when I’m trying to Price Match or doing math in my head/calculator to find the best deal. Not to mention that when you have your kids with you, there really isn’t any room left in the cart! Haha, am I right??

So to help your kids behave, stay entertained and keep you sane, I’ve put together FREE Grocery Bingo Printable Game Cards for your kids!  There are 4 cards to a page that all have a different layout.  Cut them out. Hand your kids a pencil, crayon or pen. And have them cross of the items as you head around the store.

Depending on the age of your kids, you might adjust the rules.  But the basics are:  If your kids see one of the items while you are shopping, they get to cross it off.  First person to a Bingo wins!  Or if you know you will be there for awhile, maybe tell them a Blackout wins (which would be everyone).  You can then decide what you want to give to the winner or winner(s) each time your family plays.

Some Prize Ideas:

  • Check to see what candy, snack or treats are on sale that week in your grocery ad.  Pick one to purchase at checkout for the winners. Purchase something like a bag of Skittles and split it between your kids. You could even give the winner more than everyone else, if you wanted.  And since Candy goes on sale for $.50 or less on a regular basis, it’s a cheap way to not lose your mind when you head to the grocery store!  I would totally pay $.50 if my kids didn’t fight, argue or whine the entire time we were at the store!
  • Think of something at home that your kids fight over or love.  Let the winner play with it first or get longer playing time than the others.
  • Reward them with something you were going to give them anyway.  This is kinda cheating.  But whatever works, right?!  If you were planning on doing something fun that afternoon anyway, keep it a secret and give that to your kids as a reward.
  • If you have other Reward or Prize ideas for the Bingo Game, leave them in the comments below!  I’m sure you guys have some great ideas!
