Packing Up a Storm….

Hey guys!  I was hoping that I would be able to post like normal this afternoon, but I am actually packing up our apartment and it is taking WAY longer than I thought it would.

I wish I could say that today is a happy day and that we are finally moving into our new home… but it still isn’t finished. (Insert sad and angry face here!) So we are moving once again to tide us over for the next few weeks until our home is finally done.  Then, I get to move all over again.  Yee-Haw! (<——–That was sarcastic, if you couldn’t tell)

To be honest, although it’s been awful not having a home, we have been so blessed to have friends and family members who have opened their homes to us to stay.  Nothing in this home building process has gone the way it should or the way we had hoped.  So it’s been super stressful and never knowing where you are going to live adds to the anxiety.  But God has watched out for us and everything always works out somehow.

I apologize for not having time to post today like I had hoped.  Hope you all understand!!

  4. Well, at least you know you can vent when needed & you’ll receive TONS of support. I so hate to hear that you continue to be “tried”. Still, keep the faith & know this will all end…someday. BTW: I got all of your funny comments. (Insert sad and angry face here!; Yee-haw) Thanks for keeping us posted & like we’ve all said before: Take Care of Youself & Your Family First. We’re here for you tho when you need us. : )

I love the idea about posting pix.

  6. Would love to hear about your building experience, we are getting ready to build and as much as I hate that you had a bad experience, I’d love to hear your feedback.

    • I think I am going to have to do an in-depth post about what to do and what not to do. This is our second time building and we ran into a completely different set of issues this time. So I think my experience will definitely help everyone else who is looking to build.

      • I’m sure that a lot of us would consider it a blessing, again, as much as I wish you had a fantastic experience, I’d appreciate reading your feedback and advice. Thanks in advance and praying you can enjoy your new home soon.

  7. You totally should! I just wish you has done before we started this process!! Custom is much more difficult than building with a planned builder!!

  8. I’m so sorry things are finished yet. We went through this process last year and our troubles came on the other end of trying to sell our house. I know how stressful moving can be and I don’t envy you, but it will all be over soon and you will have a beautiful new home to enjoy. You can do this! 🙂
