How To Get Free Shipping On Christmas Presents!!

Ok, I know there are a lot of new readers, especially during this time of year.  And, frantically trying to get the best deal is what everyone is trying to do.  But, one of my biggest well-known secrets is I will only purchase online if I can get free shipping with the crazy deal. And, it is super easy to do.  That is why I always do my Black Friday and Regular Christmas Shopping online.  I get to stay in my PJs, in a warm house and get everything shipped to me for Free!

So how do I get Free Shipping?  I thought now would be the perfect time to list a bunch of different ways you can get free shipping on those Hot Christmas Deals:

1Sign up for the Free Amazon Moms Program.  You don’t have to be a Mom, just a caregiver.  Amazon Mom will give you 3 months free of shipping.  And, for every $25 you spend on Baby Items, you will earn another month of Free Shipping.  Since I purchase my diapers and wipes on Amazon (it is a lot cheaper than most in-store deals), they always get shipped to me for free.  Plus, every time I spend $25, I get another month of Free Shipping.  So, I have had almost a year of Free Shipping since the Amazon Mom Program started!!

2– Another Option is to sign up for Amazon Student.  When signing up, you will need to verify that you are a student with an .edu email address. But, after doing so, you will get 6 Months Free of Prime Shipping!

3– Amazon has also announced that over 1,000 items on their site will automatically get free 1- day shipping.  So, you might want to check if any of those items are on your list!

4The Annual Free Shipping Day is coming up soon. This year, it will be December 16th.  And over 2,000 companies will be offering free shipping on their websites.  If your Christmas shopping isn’t done by then, it is a great way to take advantage of a sale and get the free shipping.

5– Remember, that Black Friday and Cyber Monday both usually have free shipping across the board.  Sometimes you will have to enter in a coupon code and other times, it is included with all orders.

6– Sign up for your Favorite Store’s Email lists. They will shoot out emails when they are offering Free Shipping.  Without the emails, you might not know the item you wanted was on sale and/or could be shipped free.  Same thing goes for Facebook.  If you use and have Facebook, make sure you like your favorite companies.  They give out special promo codes on a regular basis.  And, I think we will only see more of that as the Holidays approach.

Just remember, that the whole point of Free Shipping is to combine it WITH a hot coupon code or deal.  If you can’t get the same, if not better deal than in-store, I would recommend waiting. Stores are doing everything they can to get your business both in-store and online.  So wait for that killer deal and pounce on it with one of the free shipping options above!!  It will save you time and headache from dealing with the Holiday crowds.  Plus, it’s easy to hide what you have purchased from your kids when they come in UPS boxes. 😉

**As a side note, I have also created a brand new Category on Freebies2Deals called “Free Shipping”.  Anytime a deal is posted and it offers Free Shipping, I will at that to the tag.  So, just head to Freebies2Deals.com, look on the right-hand side for the Category Drop Down list and you will see the Free Shipping Category there.  It will pull up all deals that are offering Free Shipping!

  2. This question comes from what you said about amazon mom…lately I have not been seeing good deals on diapers on amazon! I heard they changed their deals and only offer 20% off instead of 30% or something like that…is it still the best deal to get diapers on amazon? I’m wondering because we go through a lot of diapers at our house and I’ve been looking for diaper deals to no avail!

  4. Amazon Mom – only lets you get one year of prime membership for free. After a year (even if you continue to spend $25 a month on qualifying products), your prime membership will expire.

  5. I just signed up for a month of free shipping with shoprunner.com. They give you free shipping on a bunch of different sites (like toys r us). I am planning on using it to get some Christmas gifts and then canceling it bef0re my free month is over.

    • Be careful with shoprunner…I signed up to be covered for the holidays because my Prime membership is set to expire on 11/21. I made a purchase from TRUS, which included an item I needed NOW, and chose shoprunner. Well, needless to say, when the item didn’t arrive in 2 days, I called TRUS, and they said that THEIR warehouse still has processing time, on top of the two days for shoprunner. That totally defeats the purpose of signing up for shoprunner. I am willing to try again with another store, just hoping 2 days will really be 2 days. Well, at least it’s free!
