I’ve never done the whole RR with Walgreens but want to start doing it. When I get RR’s can’t I used them on anything during my next purchase or does it have to be used towards the item I purchased on the previous trip? Also, how do I get the Walgreens coupon booklet?

I went to walgreens for the 2 packs of up2u gum… they should be free with the two coupons , however i bought 12 packs and the total was $3.49. ????? I mentioned that they should be free. However I could not convince the checker of this. Does anyone know if there is a huge tax on gum?? It just isn’t sitting right with me, maybe I’ll try again at another store. Just a little frustrated in California .
